  1. Snag proof's phat frog and poppin fattie for hollow bodies and gamble cane toads and stanley ribbits for soft bodies. I can't wait to try the Damiki air frogs when it warms up.
  2. Medlock makes an awesome heavy cover double weed guard jig.
  3. They are killer when fishing ledges.
  4. This fits me to a T. My home lake has tons of milfoil, tule/bulrush, water willow, spatterdock, and docks.
  5. Sunline Shooter and Berkley Trilene 100%.
  6. Check out the Damiki air frog, it's a soft plastic frog that floats.
  7. I wouldn't base my reel selection on how close the max drag is to another reel, anything with 10lbs + is going to be way more than capable for your needs. At least I assume this is a flip/pitch/punch setup? I would check out the new Curado or a Chronarch E/Ci4+.
  8. You are referencing THUT. They have an ebay store as well as retail store. I would not hesitate to buy from either of them.
  9. Likewise, I've also been using a cut r worm that I twist about an inch off the head as a trailer. I have had great results with it thus far.
  10. Falcon Original. It has a cork grip and regular guides and you can get it in a 6'6" mh/f for $99.99. It's also made in the USA. You should also check out Fenwick and St. Croix, they make rods around that price range with cork handles.
  11. Yumbrella flashmob jr with 1/8 j-will heads and 3.5" lft magic shad boot tail on the outside and a 4.5" in the center. I spread it out just enough where they don't get tangled up on each other.
  12. I love the core 50mg7 for jerkbaits.
  13. I have 10# red pp on two of my ci4's and 12# berkley nanofil on the third. I got red because it was on sale, but it just so happens to look good on those reels also.
  14. x2 on this.
  15. If you check out the site sponsor valley sports, they have a list of the power and actions of the duckett rods.
  16. Dang, and I just placed a shakey head order. Looks like I'll be buying some more.
  17. Not really. I think you get the same feeling as the ball, but in my experience with them I get less snags.
  18. Same as Felix, except I use a tear drop more often than a ball in sand and gravel.
  19. x2 can't go wrong with bruiser flash and candy grass.
  20. Pretty much all of my spinning setups are spooled with braid with fluoro leaders.
  21. This pretty much sums it up for me also.
  22. I was just about to say that in my area they have the 4 1/2" in resealable bags but the 6" and 7" are still in the stapled bag.
