[Suggest] A Top Water
What is your favorite top water lure? (who makes it, price, where you bought, color?) River2Sea Spittin' Wa Frog in the color Poison (black with some blue markings). I bought it from TW for about $10 Under what circumstances will you throw any type of top water lure? Always first thing in the morning (a buzzbait), but anytime I see lily pads or other vegetation at or near the surface. What do you throw when there's vegetation underneath the surface? I will throw a white or black Cavitron buzzbait, or a spook-type bait. What do you throw when there is duckweed or lily's on top? A frog. 50% of the time it is the River2Sea Spittin Wa frog, after that it is a mixture of a Snag Proof kicker frog or the Boze Sumo frogs. Are there any top water lures you've tried that you do NOT suggest? I am not a fan of the Heddon Torpedoes.

Ok Duckett Fans Help Me Out
I have two of the original Duckett MicroMagic rods in MH actions. One is the 6'8" and the other is the 7'3" version. Both of my rods feel under powered for what I think a MH should be, and don't think that the shorter rod is the best choice for anything over 3/8oz. I am currently using my 6'8" for small t-rigs, 1/8oz to 3/8oz bullet weights and a trick worm. Overall I really like the rod, but for the higher end of your range I don't think it's the best choice.

Braid For Frogs
I use Seaguar Smackdown. 65# for frogs, 30# for jigs and t-rigged plastics, and 10# for my dropshot setup.

Z Man Zinker Z And Trd Availability
I was at my local shop yesterday and was able to pick up the 1/15 and 1/10oz jigs, and the junebug and green pumpkin TRD's. After reading all the success people are having with this I just have to check it out for myself.

The Mighty Senko Fails
If he caught bass then how is it not bass fishing? If it works, and gets them to have a greater interest in the sport then by all means grab a pack of ballpark hotdogs and go to town!

Lucky Craft Cranking Rod
I do not use any Dobyns rods, so I would not be able to give you that answer.

Lucky Craft Cranking Rod
I have used this rod on a few outings. It is a nicely made rod, and for $100 it is a great buy! I would see it being effective for chatterbaits and spinnerbaits. I'm not so sure I would have to use it for throwing an umbrella rig though, but I prefer a stiffer rod for that presentation. I suppose small to midsize swimbaits would work as well, but again on these baits I prefer something more stout.

Tungsten Weights - Are They All The Same? If Not, Which Is Best?
Picasso and VMC have been good by me, but I will also grab Strike King as it is carried at most retailers that carry fishing gear.

Suffix Promix
Promix at the regular price I would rather take Sunline Supernatural, but for the $3.99 a spool I'd rather have Promix than Siege.

Suffix Promix
My thoughts when I bought the line was that I was saving so much money on the $1.99 packs of Zoom that even if it was the worst line ever I was still going to come out way ahead on my savings. I think I've picked up close to 50 bags of Zoom stuff from 2 different Ollie's stores.

Suffix Promix
I got a few spools of this at a discount/closeout store called Ollie's. I got clear and green in 10#, 12#, and 14#. I put the 12# test on one reel, and so far I am pretty happy with it. No breaks, line memory isn't so bad that KVD L&L needs to be soaked into it, and I've had no issues with abrasion. For the price it's a decent line, but it won't be replacing my Yo-Zuri or Izorline.

What's Your Favorite Type And Brand Of Weight For Dropshotting?
I feel that the banana shape does help around rocks. A majority of time I use a drop shot is on Lake Erie when I am fishing for SMB around rocks and boulders in 20' of water, or more.

What's Your Favorite Type And Brand Of Weight For Dropshotting?
I like the Voss dropshot weights. They make the one that is shaped like a banana, and I find that doesn't get hung up as often as the other shapes I've used.

Not Much Talk About Duckett
I have two of the original Duckett MicroMagic rods (7'3" MH/F, and the 6'8" MH/F). Both are really nice rods, and are a pleasure to fish with. They are a little on the whippy side of MH rods that I own, and feel more like a M in my opinion. Really like them a lot, and laugh when people call them "white carrot stix".

Which Caster / Why: Pfleuger Patriarch Or Abu Revo3?
I would suggest you put them on a rod and see how they feel in your hands. I had the Revo and didn't like how low the gearbox sat as it wasn't comfortable for me to palm the reel.

Gander Mountain Flouro
I bought a spool, but have yet to try it out. I saw the graphic on the packaging that said it was made by Sunline, and that made me grab it. I'll have it on before long, and will report back with my thoughts.
