Pond Vs Big Lake Or Reservoir
Depends on fishing pressure for me... I got some ponds under 80acres around me with some big bass, but they get hammerd so it's sorta accomplishing when you do hook into a big one

What Do You Guys Eat While Fishing?
Fishing tends to make me neglect the important things to bring along like food, water, uv/bug spray, etc... Running outta the door at 3:00am to hit the pond stumbiling around in the dark viciously trying to get the boat out before the sun even rises for another 2 hours.. Yet i always remember every bit of gear and more than likley dont use half of it. Yea guess theres a problem..

A-Rig Hard Baits
I figure i wont be spending so much on swimbaits. I always have a bad experience with soft swimbaits. Tearing before i even catch a fish. Other than that no.

A-Rig Hard Baits

A-Rig Hard Baits
Anyone have any decent recommendations for throwing hard swimbaits for the a-rig without spending $80 Was checking out these cheapies from cabelas? http://www.cabelas.com/product/Cabelas-Fisherman-Series-SS-Shad/704625.uts?WT.tsrc=CRR&WT.mc_id=crrdtfd Looks like a complete rip-off of the bbz shad, but at $5 it seems worth trying.

Lake Balance
Welcome to BR If your the owner then by all means start taking out the smaller bass.. If you got a decent amount of 4-5lb+ bass then your fishery must be doing pretty good. Just do some research on the amount to take out per acre etc. As for sunnies im not sure the whole deal with them... Someone with better knowledge can help you out

Indoor Fishing??
Good suggestions and such...Liking the feedback.. A butt ton of money and a group of us and we'd make the BEST indoor pond.

Indoor Fishing??
Thanks for the responses everyone.. I already knew before asking this question that the idea can work.. It's just how well? Would it be the same as going to a local pond after adding all the elements of a real pond?... Think about all the things that dictates how the fish act? When it comes to weather, time of year, moon phases etc? It's hard to think the fish would relate to cover or structure like they do normally My guess is it would defiantly work.. I just don't believe it would be the same or even remotely like it?

Indoor Fishing??
To start off this isn't a serious topic as i just wanted to hear what others have to say. so please don't shoot me down In a crazy world if you set up a pond inside the size of a stadium or smaller would/could it be a efficient, fun way to fish?? Already knowing the fish would act completely different in a indoor environment like aquariums, but would it work? Could you mimic a real world environment for the fish?? and be catching the same ways we do normally??

Open Spot In Ice
Bass fishing isn't written in books so give it a go... I probably wouldn't throw a top water, but then again you never know.. all waters are different... last year i was fishing a tiny pond right after ice out with COLD waters and was catching them on kvd 1.5 slowly worked below the surface and throwing a rebel frog-r working slowly..

Swimbaits In Pennsylvania
Check this post out should answer most of your questions. Just be patient and always alert cause you never know when a monster will strike. You'll probably need some decent gear to throw that 8" silver fish. http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/topic/127060-huddleston-swim-baits-any-luck-in-the-north-east/
