after what I went through this year just getting to go will be my goal. just to go out and enjoy time on the water will be time well spent.

yes first year is going to go by fast......pray and stay positive.that's all we can do.

The Classic is and will always be the one that any angler wants to win. having said that the MLF guys are going to have to shift gears to try and catch the 5 biggest not the most in a set time gonna be fun to see what happens.my picks is Steve Kennedy also.Our club did a MLF style tourney and the majority didn't like it. different reasons were expressed but the majority said that going for small fish all day took the fun out of trying to get that big fish that you want.

I caught my first bass on a Jakes Producer 7" purple worm. now called Producto worms. still use em. but yeah worm fishing is still one of the most productive ways for me to catch bass. has been since day 1.never leave home without them.

well I had my surgery last Thursday.got home today.was a total success.now just have to recover.5 days in the hospital was the most pain I've ever had.the gas pains were awful.but finally everything passed and now can get on with my life without that nasty C word hanging over me. thanks to all who have prayed and sent well wishes. now can't wait to get down to any lake, stream,pond or puddle just to cast anything.

used it for years, still use it mostly 10 lb. for light crankbaiting.never on spinning, has tendency to coil up.any color will do.really strong line.

yes all the ones I saw were in the north of the lake.gonna hit south end next weekend and do some scouting. but yes have seen beds this early before. where I live in central fl. st johns area have seen some also.

the bass are in full swing on the Big-O. haven't seen this many beads in a while. gonna be a good winter............for those of us down here at least.

20 years ago on Toho had a monster take my jig and run like no other.set the hook and the fight was on. got maybe 15 feet from her and to this day can see her eyes, OMG,she was at least 12 lbs. she rolled to her left and the jig went flying,hitting me in the chest. my friend and his wife were with me so they had to calm me down for a few minutes.but that fish to this day haunts me.

lost one this morning in Lake Washington. didn't notice it was gone till I went to use it and realized it was missing. have an idea where it went down but wind and waves kept me from giving it a good search. when the lake calms down gonna go back and find it. the worst part was it is one of my favorite combos. an older pro max 1600 on an older team Diawa Larry Nixon trigger stick. and my best Manns Baby 1-. am gonna find it............even if I swim for it.

well this weekend would be described as weird for me at least. first the kitchen faucet came apart in my wife hand.that wasn't so bad then the toilet in her bathroom broke at the base. then to top it all off I got the results of my biopsy and have prostate cancer. they say bad news comes in 3s. Dr. says I will be ok,but have to wait till after Christmas for surgery. so I really need to go fishing soon !!!!!! sorry for the rant but everyone on this forum is the best and hoping some of you out there can relate.

the fish don't care what type, make or how much the equipment cost.just go fish.................
