  1. Mother Nature does it with all creatures. Whether intentional or not, the food chain exists because of the way species are wired. Scavengers have to eat. It doesn't matter if the animal was hit by a car, shot, or died of natural age, buzzards will find it. As much as it sucks to think about bass dying, something is benefiting from it.
  2. Very rarely do I actually LOL even if I reply LOL. But that literally made me almost spit my beer out.
  3. You don't need to tie it. Put a small piece of electrical tape on your line and tape it to the spool. Put your line on, go fishing.
  4. A few million dollars sitting there.
  5. But that is not what happened here. He popped off like an arrogant D Bag. They moved right along and didn't cause any problems. He showed his A$$ and acted as though he was better than them and he owned the spot. I don't wear a jersey when I fish, so maybe I am just a simpleton who doesn't deserve to be on the water with the greatest anglers in the world. He left that spot, when would it be okay to fish it? Maybe they could only fish that day and they were locals and knew about it. Sorry, I re-read your post. I didn't realize he "leased" the spot. Different situation if he signed a lease agreement.
  6. I agree that Amber is best for color contrast but I can't handle the difference. I am color blind so that probably plays a major difference. Being color blind, my opinion is probably no good, but I have tried Blue, Amber, and Green. For me, I prefer the green. That being said, I am mostly green/red color blind so I am guessing this makes a difference. BTW, the Amber I tried was more of a yellow.
  7. If Shimano won't help, I will give you $150 for it.
  8. That's the problem right there. Money changes people, usually for the worse. If I had fished a spot every day for fun for 40 days in a row and I caught fish and I saw the same guy every day and he happened to be in that spot on the 41st day, I would move along. But I guess since money is on the line it is different.
  9. I understand that no matter the size of the screen they all have the same amount of pixels. But when comparing a 7 to say a 12 you can't tell me the 7 is easier to see, especially when viewing more than one screen. If you are only looking at one screen then I can understand, but if he wants one unit to do it all, then I think he should opt for the biggest one he can afford. It would be like sitting 15 ft from your TV and watching a 32" or a 50" and trying to read the scores at the bottom as they scroll across. Maybe more defined on the 32" but easier to see on the 50".
  10. When I got the box I was confused. I am still not sure if this was some kind of drop ship via gift card deal or what. I am certainly not as smart as most of these online criminals.
  11. Do you understand fractions? When the entire screen is larger, each section is also larger (thus easier to see). That's like saying a 50" TV is the same as a 75" TV because the resolution is the same.
  12. I got a Curado K for $112 and it was shipped straight from Dick's. Not sure what kind of scam it was, but I was certain it was a some sort of shady deal. I was never contacted though.
  13. I guess I have to ask. Were these guys only in the wrong because he came back? What if he started catching them else where and never came back? Then this would be a non-issue. If the spot were so good, he should have stayed there. The more I think about it, the more I think he was the one in the wrong. These guys may have looked up to him and thought it would be "cool" to fish an area he had been fishing. On the other hand they may be locals and he was fishing "their" spot. Why ANYONE, Pro, Local or anyone else thinks any part of the lake is their spot is beyond me.
  14. Yes! Stay away from the dealer. Go to NAPA, O'Reilly, Autozone, etc.
  15. Plus, you are already there and races aren't that much. If I have to replace one blinker bulb in my headlight, I replace both.
  16. I would replace the races. My buddy replaced the bearings a year or so ago and didn't replace the races. Something is already wrong and he thinks it's the races.
  17. Get the Garmin, add Panoptix Livescan later.
  18. I have a Curado K, Scorpion 70 and Curado 150 DC. My choice in order would be the Scorpion, DC, K
  19. That's what I told my wife. She said "Might be cheaper to buy crack"
  20. Good thing I stay out of bars. Some pool shark would have probably broke a stick over my head.
  21. Well now that I have seen it. Did he think they were going to catch all of "his" fish? They moved right along when he got to "his" spot. If he would have popped off "not cool" to me like that then we would have been fishing side by side. Reminds me of the people at the casino who play a machine and as soon as they get up if you happen to sit down and hit something they think you stole "their" machine. In my opinion he is the one who was "not cool" in this instance by thinking it was "his" spot. If he left "his" spot then where did he go? I'm assuming one of "his" other spots. How many spots on the lake are "his"? Is there a map of Brian Latimer designated fishing "spots"?
  22. I thought Aunt Becky was better than this.
