That's what I was thinking. At 20 ft you are tossing, not throwing.

I just use the little bit of everything approach. I went with baits and colors that I have had success with in the past and I try to take 2 of each. I carry about 60 bags of soft plastics and a box of terminal tackle.

You need heavier braid. 30# is as low as I would go for a BC Also:

What size mono were you using and what size braid are you using?

My guess is 27" L by 20" G and about 12.15

Enlighten me, because mine doesn't work. I have tried pressing the fn key with the prt sc key and it still doesn't work. Besides, I would have to do that, save it to print, save it to pictures, upload to PB and then paste it here. This way I can snap a pic, upload to PB and paste to here.

Death sucks. I always put a lot of thought into the passing of a friend/family member. The only ones that really bother me are the ones that I feel like left this earth without having the chance to experience what I feel like a life should be. I have been at funerals of guys that were 18, 19, 22, 25, 30 years old and I just felt bad that they wouldn't have the opportunity to raise kids, experience grand kids, etc. Those are the funerals that bother me the most. I actually feel a sense of comfort when I attend a funeral of someone who I know got to live a fulfilling life. That's just me though. Sounds like your friend lived a great and fulfilling life.

I have hooked up a ton of electronics from stereos, amps, speakers, lights, graphs, etc. etc. etc. I have used every method from twisting the wires, to using wire nuts, to using butt splices. I think the key to ensuring a good connection, and I use this no matter what I do, is to use electrical tape to keep the wires from slipping. I am a firm believer that a little bit of electrical tape goes a long way.

I normally don't like to Dr pics. But I played around with one and it turned out pretty good.

I have four and really like them. There are a lot of good rods in the $100 range. I have used the Compre, Veritas, Bucoo, and St Croix Rage. All good rods and pretty much at the right price point. Some people don't like the guides, but it is really a personal thing. I use braid on 2 of my rods and I haven't noticed any "grooving".

I ate a mess last night. People who have never had them have no idea what they are missing out on.
