Classic/ethics/family Question
I am an only child, so I can't comment on how strong a bond can be between brothers. That being said, I don't think I would share information with a brother who had already won a classic. However, if it were my Son, I would give my life to make his better. So, I would do anything to help him out. I know this isn't about children, but I don't have a brother so I was just commenting on what I know.

How Much Do The Top Pros Make From Sponsors?
Contingency money is where its at. I don't know actual figures, but winning with said sponsor pays a lot more than just endorsing them.

Classic 1St Day Weigh-In.
Wow! That's tough. But, I guess that is about the best attitude one could have.

Flipping Pitching Small Swimbait Reel
Would be a great reel. I have a 50E and a 200E7, for the application you are going to be using it for, I would go with the 200E7.

Curado 200 Dhsv
They are good reels, but I don't think $150 is a very good deal.

Shimano 50 Series Bc Reels
They will probably handle just about anything a 100/200 size reel will. Line capicity will be the main difference. I have a Chronarch 50E and a Chronarch 200E7 and they are great reels.

New Shimano Cumara--Mh/fast Or Mh/xf
I don't have the Cumaras, but I do have both the Crucials in a MH-f and MH-xf. I use 30lb braid and 1/8 - 1/4 oz weights on the MH-f when thowing a t-rig. I use 50lb braid and 3/8 - 1/2 oz weights when using the MH-xf. I will sometimes have the same soft plastic on, but will throw them in different areas (open water vs. grass etc.) If I just wanted one rod to do the things you plan on doing with it, I would opt for the x-fast.

Shimano Sellus
FWIW I have a 7 MH casting rods with perfectly straight guides. (Guess I got one of the only good ones) Good rods for the price. At $37 they are great rods.

Lowrance Elite-7X Hdi Fishfinder
Would this unit link to my HDS 8? I would like to buy this for the bow and keep my HDS 8 at the console. I currently have an HDS 5 linked to my 8 so I can still see the sidescan at the bow (although I'm not sure that is needed)

Sending My Veritas In For Repairs
I had two Veritas rods and they both broke near the tip. Maybe the quality is lacking because they are sending out free returns hand over fist. I'm not saying anyone would break a rod on purpose but if you are able to get a new rod for $10 and have your rod repaired to then have two rods, what would keep someone from doing so?

Baitcasting Reels
I have used the high end Shimanos, Abus, and Daiwas. They all make great reels but at the end of the day, I choose to fish Shimano. I have nothing against any of the other reels, just a personal preference.

Trokar Hooks
I love Trokars. But I am a little bit weird as I believe fishing is a confidence thing as much as anything else that we do. I also wear a collard shirt and slacks to play golf in. Not because it makes me a better golfer, but it makes me a more confident golfer. I want to have confdence in whatever it is I am doing and I believe that Trokar hooks give me that extra confidence. Silly as it may sound, that is how I approach things.

N A S C A R's Brightest Star?
They still mass produce the cars used in NASCAR today. If you think your buddy bought the "exact" same Monte Carlo that was running on the track in 88 then you are mistaken.

What Pound Leader Should I Use?
I like 10lb Fluoro as my leader material. I use the Sufix and have been really happy with it.
