Knee pain is awful. I'm only 42 and have had knee pain for about the last 6 years. It got to the point where I started limping the pain was so bad. Wife talked me into going to the Dr a couple years ago. After an x-ray he told me I had the left knee of an 80 year old and the right knee of about a 60 year old. Basically bone on bone contact. I am bow legged and I played a lot of sports in my life (also led to foot problems). He suggested just going with a shot first to see how it helped the pain and advised to avoid any surgery at my age. The shot does okay and usually wears off in about 6 months and I just repeat. To this day when I get up off the couch I can count the 3 pops that my knee makes. He told me knee replacement was almost a certainty (assuming I live that long).

I used to golf a lot and was a pretty decent stick. Haven't been in a couple years though. Noise never bothered me, especially on the range. But the group I played in always had a radio going in at least one cart, maybe more, so I wasn't worried about noise. In fact it was a bigger surprise if no one was talking during your swing. I listen to the radio when I fish as well, so maybe I just need some noise. LOL

I would have grabbed a Gatorade bottle, peed in it and took a big swig in front of them and simply said "I drink my own urine, do not mess with me."

NOPE! I have been dealing with severe allergies since I was about 14 (I'm 42). There is literally nothing I can do to help alleviate the symptoms and trust me, I have tried everything outside of going to an allergy clinic. I cannot afford what it would cost to do the injections that I would need if I did go to a clinic. My insurance will not cover enough of it. I had a co-worker who did it, and she took shots for over 3 years at about $400 a month (same ins as I have) and she told me it wasn't even worth it. I have no idea what all I'm allergic to, but I have them year round. One time a few years ago I was working on a siding job and it was in July, shouldn't be allergy season. But I sneezed so many times (at least 500) by 10:00 am that my boss told me to get in the truck, he was taking me home because he was tired of hearing me sneeze and I wasn't getting anything done anyway. LOL

About page 5 or so I realized I wasn't smart enough to reply. Heck, I didn't even know who made transmissions for Dodge, why would I reply.

There's plenty of reading that can be done in the forum and on the home page. We literally have no idea what his current skill set is or what equipment he is using or anything. We could make a million suggestions but that might not help him at all. But to the OP, here is my first tip. There is no "guarantee" to a good outing. Keep reading and you will learn a lot from this site.
