Any good lipless one knockers?
The XRK50 is the Excalibur one knocker which is now made by Booyah. I would think Booyah has a color that would work for you. Quality and the way they fish seems the same on the Booyah as the old Excaliburs I may have some 3/4 XRK75 left in black/chrome blue/chrome if interested. And multiples of these Booyah. PM me

Drop Shot question
I use 15# braid with a short three foot 8-10# flouro leader. Much better feel especially in deeper water. I also always use a 3/8 weight. Easy to keep bottom contact and drops fast when using electronics and dropping straight down to fish you mark.

Spro BBZ-1 Rat
I started with a size 50 black/white belly. Amazing topwater bait. Kinda hard to throw and you need to lob it with a heavy rod. I now use the size 40 in brown. Much easier for accurate cast on a MH. Still catches all size fish. Work it slow.

BPS or Academy House Brands
I have only used the CRS and they are everything I need out of a squarebill. Nice Sunfish patterns too.

does not mention it so probably not.

Difference between Shakey Head and Ned Rig
Most of these "new" techniques are just slight mods on old style rigs. Who hasn't thrown a light jig with a grub? We used to use the Slider heads with 4" Slider worms years ago.

Lure Body Color Wraps

Odd request
Find a Custom company that will make you just the chartreuse tips. Then you can cut the tail off the GYBC Senko and use a lighter to melt and piece the two together. I would make you some but dont have a tip mold.

Having a hard time catching fish on wacky rigged senkos
When Bluegill hit a Soft stick they can nearly take the rod out of your hands. Usually feels like multiple fast taps I call a machine gun. When bass hit you may feel a single tap or just weight. When you feel any sort of tap (use braid) just stop and wait. Wait 5-10 seconds and slowly reel up the slack. A bluegill will have let go. A bass will usually sit with it or slowly move off. Then set the hook. Weedless hooks have a bad reputation. My experience with them is nearly 90% hook ups. Much better chance of hook up with a weedless hook than Texas rig for me. I use a 2/0 weedless and set the hook hard. So wait that few seconds after you feel the bite and you will know if its a bass. Gaps on those little Gammies is way to short. Awful hooks. The Wicked Wacky are great. To me if youre not fishing wacky weedless you are not throwing where the fish are.

Best tail for Homemade Teckel Frog?
Anyone tried a Helicopter lure?

Weedless dropshot hook
I had these hooks and some shrink tubing. Not my favorite weedguard but should do until the G-finesse are out. I dont think I need to shrink the tubing as it seems to stay OK. And I doubt the flouro would appreciate the heat. Ty

Weedless dropshot hook
I might try shrink tube instead of tieing. Where do I get the lil straw tho?

Weedless dropshot hook
And how do those work in heavy brush?

Weedless dropshot hook
So these Gamakatsu Wicked Wacky TO ME are the best weedless dropshot hook design. Unfortunately the smallest the come is 1/0. And its a big obnoxious 1/0 at that. A company at least ten years ago made a very similar hook in smaller sizes but not made any more that I know of. The trick to these is the tube for the dropper that keeps it untangled and bait standing out. So does anyone else make these in smaller sizes or do I have to get the Fly vice out? Ty.

Megabass Vision 110 or Lucky Craft Pointer
I like both. MB 110 goes shallower for me. LC 100sp a lil deeper. You can get two pointers for the price of one MB. Pointers suspend better IME

Carolina rig with swivel or no swivel????
Yeah but C keepers are not cheap compared to a 5 cent swivel and as I said I dont want 8-12# flouro all the way. I want heavy braid to free that heavy weight if snagged. I wont ming loosing the leader/hook/bait.
