Thoughts On My New Gear?
Nice set up. I think its alot easier for a beginner to fish Senkos wacky style with a 2/0 weedless hook. GL and have fun. You will kill them in shallow water in the spring.

What Are You Trying This Season?
I have a couple small lakes by me with some big bass in it. I want to try some bigger baits. A 7" fluke, 7" Senko, and 7" swimbait.

Drop Shot Weights - Are They All Necessary?
Unless you put Megastrike on it like Bobby does LOL I also tie on the cheap old style bell sinkers usually in 3/8 or 1/4 oz. My lake does not have many rocks and when I get hung up its usually the hook on wood.

Hoping For Some (Weedless) Hook Suggestions For Finesse Tubes
Just measured a Eagle Claw laser wide gap worm hook (like an EWG) at 1.25" from eye to bend. I dont see why that would not work Texas rigged. I have a bunch of these cheap if you are interested. 2" long Please delete if I am not supposed to put this here. Just tryin to help the OP Or these 5 sliders (probably 1/16 oz) or twelve of these Eagle Claw Shaw Grigsby HP Hook designed to clip on to tubes.

Wacky Rigging
Depends how clear your water is. I usually use 20# braid with a short 10# flouro leader.

Favorite Coldwater Jerkbait
I'm usually not one to buy the more expensive lures but the LC Pointer 100 is my choice of suspending jerks.

Flour Salt For Rubber Products
If doing sticks, try the Caney/do-it HD sinking additive instead of salt. It is a thick liquid that makes the baits softer and much more durable.

Help Me Gain Confidence In The Senko
I have a friend that is a great jig fisherman but does not do as well with Sticks. With rod tip high, he pops the jigs off the bottom and has alot of confidence in them. He fishes the sticks too aggresively and fast IMO. I on the other hand consider myself a very good stick fisher and struggle with a jig. I fish wacky and let the stick sink without imparting much action. Just a lift and twitch now and then. I have fished with people that never fished before and they catch plenty on the sticks. They work best in shallow water in the spring. I almost always skip cast them right to the bank under trees and docks. Its an idiot-proof bait and maybe why I like it so much

Flour Salt For Rubber Products
Bears sells very good powdered salt in a gallon jug. As said you canpowder salt yourself. Powdered salt if used in large quantities (like for Senkos) will cloud the bait and make it opaque (not see through) You can also use Mortons Pickling salt from walmart but that is still too course for me.

Rapala Mini Digital Scale - Load Test Report
Thanks for the info. I have one of these and turning it on sometimes takes 5 mins. I bought it new off ebay so could not easily return it. Anyone else have trouble with the switch or turning it on?

Best Lure To Target The Big Ones?
Although jigs generally catch bigger fish they also catch small fish. To truely target only big fish I would throw a 6"+++ swimbait

What Is A Beaver Bait Supposed To Look Like?
I dont really think most baits resemle anything real to a bass. To a bass, anything that is in the water and fits in their mouth is just "food". A worms doesnt resemble much that lives in a lake. My lake has no/very few craws but jig and craws work great. Senko looks like a turd. What is a brush hog supposed to mimic?

What Are Your Top 3 Color's In The Brush Hog?
Green Pumpkin copper flake, Rootbear green flake, Brown gold and orange flake

Wacky Rig Problems
I am visually impaired so dont line watch. I always keep contact with the bait. I can feel a fish breathe on it. IME and I know others disagree, but a sunfish will always feel like a tap tap tap and they usually run with it and let go. A bass usually is a single tap and then just weight or they move away with it. I still think you are getting bit by sunfish.

Perfect 10
You are right. In the right situation they should work well. In my lakes a 4-6' depth is prefered. Even my Staysee goes a little deep and grabs those gunk weeds/algae.

Strike King Wake Shad
It only wakes and will not dive at all. It floats so you can stop and twitch it too. It is my favorite wake bait and really calls fish up.

Wacky Rig Problems
Here are the ones I use. Mustad W37754R 2/0 with a single o-rig. I get up to 50 fish per one bait. Reels sets dont work with this one. I get 90% or so hook ups If you are not using a weedless hook you are not throwing where the fish live and missing alot of oppertunities IMO.

Wacky Rig Problems
Sunfish hit Senkos HARD and sometimes almost rip the rod out of your hand. I use 2/0 Mustad weedless hooks and set the hook hard. Rarely miss a fish. I also let them take it 5-10 secs so I know its a bass. They wont let go and I never deep hook them.

Perfect 10
Looks like some places have them already. http://www.*/store/pc/Smithwick-Perfect-10-Rogue-c7079.htm#.UUJSsYy9KSM Not impressed with the color choices and goes too deep (10') for my liking

Best Baits Ever!
You may want to post on Tackleunderground where people have more experience with this. A bait can not be patented. A unique feature on the bait can. I believe the Rage patent pertains to the raised ridge on the tail/craw, appendage. This single patent applies to all the Rage baits. Sounds like you want to sell your idea and the patent that would go with it, rather than producing the baits and selling the product itself. Carolinamike is a bait company on tackleunderground that could make the baits for you. Custom molds are pretty expensive and I would not be surprised if startup cost were $5000+.

Future Of A Non Managed Fishery
As said the forage fish is key. I forgot the ratio but you want/need alot more forage than predators.
