  1. If they are arguing then ill walk, but if he's hitting her, I'm gonna do what you did and I'm NOT GONNA BE GENTLE AND HAVE ANY REGARD FOR HIS WELL BEING. I've been a cop and have had women turn on me as you did, but the majority of the time they haven't. My point is, you don't know of he's gonna hit her hard enough to kill her or knock her down and she hit her head on a curb and die. Ill take the risk and stop it before someone gets hurt. And if the suspect gets hurt, welll...its collateral damage....above all ..feelings aside... I can't witness something like that and not put a stop to it before somone gets seriously... Besides I might be the one to stop something and see that he goes to jail before he hurts her down the road. I'm a gun carrier but im very careful in situations like that... Sometimes I feel like I'm not gonna elevate it to that until its absolutely time.
  2. Can't remember. Maybe an ugly stick with an Abu spinning reel
  3. Chap free day. Slightly annoyed by ny boss deciding to ride and watch me work today. I got nothing accomplished.. bosses like long exspensive lunches and talk on the phone all day and find reasons to keep me away from my work.
  4. Yall are too nice in Bama... Here, we would've run him off by now.
  5. Teal replied to jeff25's topic in Fishing Tackle
Ill use the flukes and fluke Jrs as trailers when I'm attemping a more subtle approach... To add to what ajay said, sometimes I've found a paddle tail to be overkill on a scrounger so will use the fluke or Jr instead.
  6. There shouldn't be a question of fight or not to fight. There should only be controlling the fish. That can mean different things, I'm going to respond differently if I'm punching or pitching thick brush or grass as I am a treble bait. Control the fish. Sometimes, you are going to simple need to keep pressure on the fish while reeling and sometimes you are gonna be in the thick stuff and you are gonna need to yank hos butt out there fast before they get you wrapped up.
  7. Most of the time for floro its the double improved clinch or the trilene knot..
  8. No sir. When properly perpared. Chitlings are awesome...
  9. Rod socks...no reel covers.
  10. Green eggs and ham.
  11. Every January. Ill reverse the braid if I haven't done it before on said reel.
  12. Chitlings that were not cleaned or cooked properly.
  13. Yeah I was talking privately with another member and u had mentioned letting the young man work for a couple weeks ans then taking him to BPS.
  14. Great video. Cool snacks. Weak smokes. I'm a Marlboro Red kinda guy. If I ate all that junk in one day, I would be able to poop through the top of a Texas Pete bottle.
  15. Happiness is a temporary emotion. Joy however, is a state of being. I have found joy in life and I try the best I can, one decision at a time.
  16. As far as the work and tackle. I was thinking along those lines too!
  17. Not one food item, but BREAKFAST! I could eat eggs, grits, bacon, sausage, waffles, hashbrown or fried potato slices, country ham, biscuits, and any combination or variation of the above foods any and all the time. Breakfast for dinner is big in my house.
  18. A couple members messaged me and offered to help with this endeavor and I just want to let you guys know how much I appreciate their offers and how good this group of men we have here is. We have some stand up guys here on BR !
  19. Jeremy, thay used to burn me up too. I used to work my butt off all day just for a Sun Drop Soda and an ice cream Sandwich. I plan on a more than fair rate for the yard work. I plan on closely supervising the first couple times. I'm not too worried about all that.
  20. Just left his house. Talked to his mom while he was stillout with friends. His mom told me that she has beenwanting to buy him a rod and reel sonsince all he talks about is fishing with me. She however didn't have the extra money to do so. She said that she wants him to get a job. So... It got the wheels turning in my head. I asked if it would be ok if I had him cut my grass, weedeat, trim my bushes etc.. she was thrilled. ... It will help me out a lot anyways and will keep him busy a couple afternoons every couple of weeks. I haven't decided any other details other than that.
  21. Ok will do.. as soon as you mail them to me. Hahaha
  22. Yeah... I thought so too. I'm thinking about trying to find one of the Vendetta rods for cheap. Some say thay some wally world's have them for 30 bucks again. And then I can pair it up with one of the 50 dollar Abu or Shimano spinning reels. My buddy thinks its absurd to spend 80-100 bucks on a combo for a kid that isn't mine.... But the kid doesn't have a father figure or a man in his life that is willing to take up time with him. A jay, all of my old gear like the old ugly sticks and cardinal reels were given away last year in my attempt to appease the wife.
  23. This whole idea came up because he called me and asked to borrow two of my spinning rods, both are Powell Endurance 712 with Stradic 2500s, just so he could go down to the river with his friends... I'm sorry but he isn't taking those rods without me....
  24. Spam-snake
  25. My reservations on buy super cheap stuff. Was I want him to have something nice / decent that will last him a while and will preform at high level....with out breaking the bank.
