That's a really good question, I've got a 9.5 mounted from a farm pond. But I I've caught a couple 8+ and several 7+ fish and never thought about getting them mounted. But for my area a 8 lb fish is def worthy. I guess I'm just waiting onb that ever elusive double digit bass. 8.5 is my pb from a large lake body

Reminds of a post from a year ago. Lol I'm going to rephrase what you said. I committ the crime of trespassing and wildlife fishing violations at local ponds. I rationalize my crimes by being courteous to people's homes, keeping to myself, and practicing catch and release on fish that aren't rightfully mine in the first place. Despite my efforts to committ my crimes while remaining courteous, the property owners still come down and check with me, and ask me to leave. On some occasions these people contact law enforcement to report me and talk to me. This is preposterous. I just changed the words, but that's pretty much what you said. And for your information, we dont post things on this site that are illegal.

Papa, your thinking right. I use the same rod for spinnerbaits, swimjigs, chatterbaits, and hollow body swimmers. I use a 7'mh. Its a Powell Endurance 723, its actually more like a mag med. I have two of these rods. 12# would be fine. The cover your tossing them in would dictate if heavier is needed. Edit. I said Powell Diesel ...must have read it above while type..its an endurance

FD, the bucs did scare me last year when they played my panthers. Yall were not bad, in fact, yall lost alot of really close games. Bobby Rainy and Mike Glennon did very well as rookies. Its gonna be a tough division. Lovie was a good choice. Those unis are yucky

Personally, If you draw me, and I'm going to be your boater I don't care as long as I'm not tripping over all your stuff. I typically keep one of my rear compartments clear for my friends or co anglers. I've told guys before to bring all they want, but if I trip over it, I'm gonna throw it in the lake. That bag is fine to me. I would rather u bring one huge bag that you can keep on the rear deck or on a seat while u are fishing than multiple med or small bags everywhere Not all boater share my sentiment, but they certainly understand where you are coming from.
