Old Town Predator Mx Vs. Wilderness Ride 115
i have a ride 135 and love it.... VERY stable is almost an understatement. you really do need to paddle as many as you can before buying. just like everything, you have individual preferences like everyone and it just boils down to trial and error. having seen the predator in person i say you wouldn't be disappointed with either choice you make.

What To Pair With A Shimano 50?
i have a curado 51e on a *** black 6'10" MF, love the feel of this combo. use that weightless worms, light jigs and t-rigs. my other curado 51e is likely to get upgraded to an Avid soon for a topwater/jerkbait combo.

Lucky Craft Question
--UPDATE-- Just received a reply a week later and this is what they said. I can't really do any of that because I already sent it back to the vendor who took care of it right away. Nevertheless, I received a response and they were willing to take care of the issue! Thank you for the inquiry. If any of our product in question will need to go through an inspection to determine whether the product is a defective or not. Please send the product to the address below along with a copy of a receipt and a note explaining what happened, we will take care of this right away. Without a receipt, please allow four to six weeks for processing. In case of any out of stock item(s) being returned, it may take longer than four to six weeks. We apologize for the inconvenience. Sincerely, Lucky Craft, Inc.

Buried My Dog Tonight.
sorry to hear man. buddies like that are hard to find and harder to let go. i had a jack russell that passed away on me a few years ago that killed me, but oddly enough happened the same day my nephew was born so it was an odd time... after a while my wife and i got another pup, a total mutt and she picked him out. Tripp turned out to be a killer dog, and he's my main man on fishing trips. sorry to hear of spot.

Green Pumpkin Vs. Watermelon Red
not for me. i just prefer the green pumpkin/black flake because i have confidence in that color in any water color conditions..... that's just me and my uneducated opinion though!

Kayak Bass Fishing!
i have a wilderness ride 135. has a lowrance fish finder, but no holes as i used the yakattack cellblok which works pretty well. has a foot controlled rudder, high seat, have a pretty hooked up crate on it (with dividers for my tackle boxes and rod holders as well). i also have a parknpole which is pretty crucial. aside from that, i added the silent traction system in various spots around the kayak to cut down on the noise. one of these days i'm going to figure out how to hook my 30or35lb minn kota up using the foot controls.... one of these days.....

Becoming A Manufacturer Sales Rep
I'm not certain that i can help a ton with pointing you in the right direction in terms of looking for a job, that's hard enough anywhere, let alone the tight group that is the fishing community. I'm just going to ask if you have all of your other ducks in a row prior to landing that conversation or interview of sorts? in other words, do you already have a serious/solid resume ready to hand over today? can you also provide real world examples of new business you landed, accounts you turned around and your overall sales performance history? all sorts of guys can talk fishing all day long, but these people are in the business to turn a buck. you need to have proof that you've been successful selling whatever it was and then show them how that will translate to success in the fishing industry. you may also find that a lot of these companies may manufacture the products, but they may outsource the marketing and sales to a company such as the one i work for. in that case, you may be selling a wide array of products including, but not limited to fishing. either way that gets you out of selling food and a little closer to getting paid for fishing..... i wish you the best of luck regardless!

What Brand Hooks.
if trokars weren't so expensive that's all i would fish. owners are nice, but again expensive. gamakatsu is a nice medium price, but good quality hook. on a budget, vmc are good for me.

What Are The Pros Doing Now?
I don't know, but I passed over Hartwell on Sunday and it looked like chocolate milk. Water seemed to be down about 8ish feet from the shoreline. Would be cool to know what kind of prep is taking place right now and then how much they think it will change between now and the tournament.

Tatula Or Lexa
I would probably get the tatula i have in the flea market for $80 so that you get the superior product at a reduced price, this of course being if you can get down on the left handed retrieve. http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/topic/149125-daiwa-tatula-100hl-for-sale/

What Brand Of Popper?
jeff is right, yamamoto for sure. careful when/if you replace the hooks that you replace with the right size. those particular poppers seem pretty sensitive to the right size hook. i put 1 size too big on it once and it turned into a sub-surface lure.
