  2. you have a counterfeit, i have the original recipe.... and al gore takes all your credit for the interweb! denali pro staff is what i think he meant to say
  3. i spent a solid hour last night wondering how to change the rotation to suit the new chronarch ci4+ and the new cumara rod i just picked up.... first world problems for sure.
  4. funny part is i'd never seen the cumara's even at regular price in this location.... then i walk in on Thursday night and they are priced $159.97 and the sticker says 50%off of that. there were 3 of them and i walked out with 2. if i had the extra $$ i would have bought the 3rd one just because.... but opted for the spinning reel that i "needed"
  5. you fellows need to read up on the man a bit more.... his words were that he thoroughly enjoyed it. From his book: “I wondered, how would I feel about killing someone? Now I know. It’s no big deal” “You do it until there’s no one left to kill. That’s what war is. I loved what I did… I’m not lying or exaggerating to say it was fun.” “There’s another question people ask a lot: Did it bother you killing so many people in Iraq? I tell them ‘No.’ And I mean it.”
  6. long time heels fan, but you have to give credit to the guy for recruiting and coaching world class talent..... we need a regime change at UNC

  8. same here and they were in the recycling next day. wonder how much savings they could provide back to the consumer if not mailing out who knows how many catalogs....
  9. not that i would clone a particular lure, but there is a particular lure that i keep a few back ups. Panther martin spinner gold blade, black w/ yellow spots 1/8oz or 1/4oz. not a primary bass lure, but that is my all time fish catching machine that i could not do without.
  10. Varner is also a pretty easy paddle as well as far as getting around the lake! you have a ton of options really. i highly suggest looking on the georgia DNR site as well because they list a lot of the lakes/reservoirs and details on there. small note too, most of these public lakes will require a small cash fee for parking/launching. like $2 - $5 but just take some cash because they will write you a ticket if you do not pay the fee.
  11. DSG made me do it.... extra 50% off clearance prices and the prices were gooooood cumara spinning cumara casting pflueger supreme mgx trokar trebles storm arashi RI beavers
  12. yessir, wouldn't want you to miss out! i've since given up on swimbaiting and sold my gear off, but that pic looks sweeeeeeet! if i were still in the swimbait market, i'd be buying one of these guys for a particular lake that i fish busting with bluegill and big bass.
  13. you do realize that 9AM PST is really 12PM EST? i know it messes me up from time to time too because my company is based in Los Angeles....
  14. as long as Walmart continues to have a fishing section, there will be reasonably priced fishing gear available.
  15. carbon fiber may not be the most visually appealing, but it is lighter and stronger than most anything we've found on this planet. perfect for fishing applications
  16. lake varner has some biggggg fish in it. i've never caught them, but seen some pics from there of some whopper double digits. though it does get some pressure. never fished black shoals, but hear good things. i would also throw in there high falls lake in jackson, ga. that's a great lake for kayaks, pretty sure it's HP restricted and about 30 minutes away. a really cool lake with a lot of standing timber is lake juliette, not far from jackson. and there's a decent number of gar in there too. you have lots of options. check the Georgia DNR website too for more places.
  17. ^^^ this is me with everything i buy. fishing or non-fishing related purchases alike
  18. i've fished them on a 6'6"MF St Croix Triumph and 12#mono just fine.
  19. santa hooked you up! nice reels you got there...
  20. or save a tree and go to their website. or just look at the 2014 catalog and imagine 2 new pages in the 2015 catalog.....
  21. polarizing topic, destined for a locked thread.... that said, i'm not paying $15 at the theatre to see ANY movie, period. perhaps when it's on dvd or the internet i may watch it, but not paying an arm and a leg to watch it in a large crowd.
