Tokushima Spinning Reel - Improved Technology
and i'm sorry, but with as many spelling and grammar errors as they've displayed on those pages it's hard to believe they have much of a quality control process.

Not For The Squeamish. Crazy Height.
these videos make me sick for real. all the crazy russians on bridges and old iron workers, crazy tower climbers, window washers on skyscrapers. all these people are crazy, but the russians are the craziest because they aren't even getting paid to do it!

Lucky Craft Question
yeah, certain it was an SP. i've bought and used at least a dozen pointers all SP and never had an issue with one like this particular bait.

Favorite Spinning Reel
i've never seen the value in spending over $100 on a spinning reel period.... i just don't use them enough to justify. that said, i picked up a pfleuger patriarch on a smoking deal and could not be happier. the thing is smooth as silk and looks awesome. but if that deal were not available, a supreme or a shimano symettre would have likely been the next choice.

2015 Rod Builds
that was a great way of explaining it, makes sense to me. i like the money saving aspect and having high end gear at the same time, very cool.

Any Advice On Storing A Kayak With An Apartment
if you have a garage unit with the apartment, you could hang it there. if not, that's going to be a little tricky. in my previous townhome i hung mine on a wall in the garage, which you could do in a room if you wanted. I used Rubbermaid FastTrack Garage storage system and it worked like a charm. it seems a little flimsy in hand in the store, but i could do pull ups on the thing with no problem.

Never Seen A Cabelas Like This
To the OP or anyone else for that matter, what is a typical size of a typical Cabela's? I ask because honestly 125-150K square feet seems fairly big. My frame of reference being a typical Lowe's or Home Depot runs between 105 and 130K so for a sporting goods store to be bigger than that seems adequate to me. There again, i suppose it matters how much of the store is devoted to fishing vs hunting, clothing and other junk. just curious....

tragic news. he was all about living to the fullest.... his energy was incredible. "When you die, it does not mean that you lose to cancer. You beat cancer by how you live, why you live, and in the manner in which you live." - Stuart Scott

Lucky Craft Question
and while i likely would get a quicker response from the vendor, it isn't the vendor's fault that the lure isn't functioning properly. however, if i receive no response or an inadequate response from LC i will likely end up going through the vendor. thanks guys.

Lucky Craft Question
i would almost agree with you, but in order for me to get the bait to sit nose down, it would need weight in the front. this would now take it from a slow sinker to a moderately fast sinker..... furthermore, i'm just the type to feel like for that kind of $ the bait should just be tuned and run right straight from the package.

Only Megabass ....
as usual, they're trying to make the lures appeal to the fisherman, not so much the fish. if you're a scrounger guy, these are probably up your alley.... but for me, megabass is only taking my cash on the pop max, pop x and vision 110

Latest Tackle Purchase Thread (Bait Monkey Victim Support Group)
picked up a 6'7MF *** black spinning rod yesterday. It was just so nice in my hands I couldn't resist. Paired it up with my new Pfleuger Patriarch and it is now the lightest combo i own, don't have a scale to be exact but it is crazy light.

Lucky Craft Question
surely hope this is not seen as a "i have a dispute with company X" thread and get locked. just looking for any actual experiences (positive experiences i should say) with their customer service. I just have a question for anyone that may have tried to contact Lucky Craft USA before.... I recently bought a pointer 78sp that was a bit of a dud out of the package. it sits with the back down rather than nose down and sinks at about 1 feet per 3 seconds rather than actually suspending. I sent them an email explaining and asking if i could return or replace or anything of that like. just wondering if anyone else has contacted them with a similar quality issue and if so, did you receive any resolution to your problem.

Best Wall Mart Line
just buy the trilene xl and be done with it, that is if you're just opposed to braid. but i would go with the braid personally, then if you ever want to get more versatile, you tie on a leader and start fishing.

2015 Rod Builds
these are awesome! i wouldn't even know where to start with a rod build, but you obviously have it down! that red one with the extend a butt looks phenomenal. nice work. i can imagine it must be very rewarding fishing with a stick you built from scratch....

Cabelas
i find the cabbala's near me to be pretty bad overall. more gear for salt than for fresh and i'm a good 4 hours from the beach. DSG just depends on the store. some of them are great, some are only running clothes. the one closest to me has an awesome selection and the dept manager actually knows what he's doing. i use them all to window shop and then typically pull the trigger online somewhere.

Big Change For Bps Fishing Classic
it's fun even if you don't buy anything. i met and chatted with Brandon Palaniuk last year at the lawrenceville, ga location and found him to be a super nice guy. he spoke that morning at a seminar, but i missed it. although i think you may be disappointed in some of the sales. i think at any given time you can find equally as good of deals online and in other retailers. it's only the house brand stuff that really goes on a sale worth mentioning.
