the golf club analogy really sums this up..... you could play 18 holes with a 4 iron, 8 iron and a putter but it could make for some long holes and frustrating situations. really is just different strokes for different folks. some are simpletons and some (like me) like to overcomplicate things a bit in an effort to eventually simplify....

Thinking about rigging up my jerkbait/topwater rod with copolymer line (looking at McCoy Mean Green). Couple questions come to mind: 1. What size copoly would you recommend for these applications? 2. Do you back the reel with copoly or just spool it straight on? 3. What knot is preferred with copolymer? Thanks for the input.

tons of different answers, but i appreciate all of them. can't quite land on which route to go, but will likely be either 12lb mono (likely the easiest route to take) or the 30lb braid/leader for jerkbaits option which i like as well. thanks for all the opinions!

good question because it's not about your favorite band/artist, but more about a single album you could listen to forever.... for me a good album is one that doesn't make me want to skip a single song. lake fork magic popper... don't know what they do that differs from other poppers but it flat out catches fish. a bit pricey, but man it just works. aside from that, i just say jigs. i just fished them more this year and picked up even more confidence in them.
