  1. also the PM's i've sent and received are duplicating within the body of the message. the whole message just repeats itself.
  2. First and foremost, i'd mow when i felt like it, until the cops showed up and told me otherwise. BUT in the interest of being polite and within the "rules", find out how early the trash company is allowed to begin pickup services around here some places don't allow them to begin until 7AM. If it's good for them, it's fine to mow in my opinion. Lastly, you say not by neighbors, but by a 20 something. Does this mean that the 20 something isn't one of your neighbors? If he's not even a neighbor, I don't know why i would even care.
  3. i've hit the "contact us" thing at the bottom of the error and reported it twice today. tried to PM siebert earlier and wouldn't work, checked back just a bit ago and had 5 PM conversations with him and I? My PM's are also in some really odd order, not sorted by most recent even though it says it is. Also didn't have a notification on my last PM received. Got the same error when i tried to like some posts earlier as well. It's been acting funky for sure.
  4. the dredge style with the owner deep throat hook are sweeeeeeeet jigs. i prefer the arky and brush heads.
  5. sorry to hear of your friend Time is but the stream I go a-fishing in. - Henry David Thoreau
  6. ever seen pro fisherman Mark Davis' face? it's not exactly a good luck either.... https://www.bassmaster.com/blog/mark-davis-diagnosed-skin-cancer
  7. well of course... because it will likely be outsourced to Mars, and we all know how those lazy Martians have no Quality Control....
  8. man i really don't care much for cigars to be honest, but if i were to buy one, it's going to be Arturo Fuente Hemingway Short Story. We had a "cigar bar" at my wedding and these were my cigars of choice. Now on the rare occasion that i indulge in a cigar, the short story is my go-to.
  9. yes sir, that looks good. touch that thing up with some sandpaper and "roll out" any edges and you'll be back in business!
  10. i bought a 2 piece UL to keep in my truck and i'm pretty sure it's the camo grip you speak of, it's the one my little nephew is holding here. i had bought a different rod, but REALLY liked the action on this one as it wasn't a wet noodle for an UL rod. seems pretty well made for my intended use for it. i've already caught a few brown and brook trout on it myself and it performed well.
  11. welcome! i was born in Libby, but my parents moved back to NC when i was little. I've been trout fishing out there, but never bass. My dad has told me before that there were some bass in Flathead lake and i believe he said in Noxon too. He still has a place out there even though he lives in NC. i hope to make it back out someday in the near future and go for some more big trout and try my hand at the bass while there....
  12. ^ that's what i had for breakfast...
  13. right, but to be fair, your statement just said that shimano baitcasting reels had gone down in quality... basically the point of my post above.
  14. i prefer mad dog 20-20 orange jubilee with my swisher sweets, but i'm a fairly sophisticated individual.... likely a little too high class for you raider!
  15. does bass stand for Big American Saltwater Species???
  16. i don't think it's quite fair to make blanket statements about the whole line when most (including myself) have likely not tried everything they have in their lineup, even though i have tried a few.... don't get me wrong, i like my e series curados a lot, but i haven't tried an I curado, or a metanium or an antares or a new citica, etc. etc. etc. so what i'm saying is i can't make any definitive statement about ALL their baitcasting reels...
  17. I saw this banner at the top of the page here on BR and though i admit i usually don't pay attention to them, it caught my attention for some reason or another.... anyways, seems like a pretty dang solid deal that would bring the line down to a pretty reasonable price! buy 2 spools (200 yd) and mail in the rebate form, UPCs and receipt for a 3rd spool, FREE! so maybe find some on sale somewhere and buy you 2 spools and then get a 3rd free! http://seaguar.com/promotion/tatsu/Tatsu-BOG2-Offer.pdf
  18. i'm with J and flyfisher on this one though, i have a crate and number of planos in the kayak... i take WAYYYYYY more than i need, so i won't be of much help to your minimalist approach! i don't fish much clear water to be honest, but if i did, i'd have a jerkbait or two in there as well.
  19. WOW that's slick!!!
  20. give a few details about where you live and/or where you usually fish and that may help with the input you receive. that said, i didn't see any jigs in there, do you ever fish them? if not, you might be missing out!
  21. it wasn't for lack of trying man trust me!! the big guy that jumped off didn't even pay one bit of attention to the spinnerbait that kept cruising by him, but that 5" senko, he wasn't having that, not in his house!
  22. LOL, i'm going to try that this year and see how it goes!!! luckily for me (on more fronts than one) there's no kids with the wife and i, yet....
  23. clayton, if you continue to tell everyone about these worms, consider us no longer on friendly terms!!!!!! no, but seriously, they are some kind of good for the shakyhead. and if you bump it up to the "super" t mac (9" worm) they are dy-no-mite for the t rig. i have them in black, junebug and green pumpkin and they cover most all my t rig worm needs! i have a few of the megastrike heads still left from a friend giving me some, but after they're gone i intend on giving the owner shakyheads a "fair shake" (lol, see what i did there, god i'm bored at work today).... i really like owner products for the most part and i've heard nothing but good about them.
  24. lately it's been all 3/8oz spinnerbaits (white and any variation of white) and 4" and 5" wacky senkos for me.
  25. these are all pretty solid! most important one for me to improve is the casting accuracy that KVD mentioned. not that i can't cast accurately per se, but more like i get all excited and cast right in the middle of a good spot rather than working the edges sometimes and then hitting that juicy middle spot! of the mistakes, i have been really trying to improve on the "doing too much" that Jason Christie spoke of. And for some time now i've come around to the not getting too caught up on colors one from Marty Robinson.
