I've been using the Albright knot for years to attach a leader to braid. I honestly can't remember the last time it failed. I've broke off snags that fail at the hook and the joining knot is still intact. Though it's not that often. I use leaders from 6-20lb on braid 10-50lb. It's served me well, and is super easy to tie during tournaments. I adjust the amount of wraps depending on line diameter. #16 sniper and #30 braid I'll use 5 wraps.

I bought 1 field mouse for $13. It filled with water after a few seconds and sank. They sent me 2 for free as replacements. 1/2 did the same thing. They collect dust in my topwater box. Snag proof frogs work great for me. Cheaper too!

If it's a wiffle spool you can also tie your braid through the holes. A few wraps of electrical tape works well also. I use backing since I only spool up about 60 yards worth of braid. Unless it's a shallow spool. Then I use tape.

That's the reason I love the Endurance series so much. Not only is it a great rod for the money, but it doesn't matter if a reel is 5.5oz or 7.9. It still balances so good.

A company called Picasso already has something very similar. Been around for a while.

What workhorse reel did they offer that was less than 7.9oz and under $200? Jdm Alphas Sv is 6oz and $200. Throws light and heavy... Problem solved. I feel all of them are workhorse reels. Never had an issue with any of them. I know people who use a pxr for frogs. Not a single issue either. The tatula is a super solid reel @ $100

I have the blc model. It's has k series sic guides but I'm not 100% on the size. Probably mids or micro. They aren't too terribly big.

The current tatula is a nice rod for the money. That tiny trigger kills me though. How big is a full size Fuji? I don't know if I've ever had a rod with full size guides. The guides on the Volkey might be. Not sure though.

I'll be trying 1, or 6 lol. I'm happy they are offering a budget rod finally, but I also am slightly sad that now seemingly everyone will own a MB rod.
