Float tube it! Its cheap and gets you in/on the water I always wanted to try it, seen videos looks like fun.

Looking good so far in my group, i got the Ducks and Bears right. One buddy had sent OSU to the finals, so I would say hes about busted. I had Harvard picked cause somewhere based on a theory it said pick one smart/ivy school, but i said nahhhhh its freaking harvard they wont win. ha

Yup, I am also fishing the BWS this weekend as well. I'll probably stick with FLW cause some, not all of the BWS events overlaps the trail i plan to fish with my old man. I really liked my first event as a co-angler, had a nice guy as a boater. The event is pretty cool FLW really makes it feel like the big times. If your thinking about it, jump on in its a blast. I just need to change one little thing this weekend, find some fish! hehe Which based on the weather looks to be tough maybe the smallies will be hungrier.

Yea I am hoping the rod at least pans out cause then i could just upgrade the reel at a later date.

Im sure we could set some rules and guide lines on reviews. In today's age of easy access photos I think u should at least have to post a pic and say write your forum name on a piece of paper by it. This would prove you at least owned the product and if your going to take time to do that you'll at least put some thought into your review.

I would love to see this happen. I say to even lessen the clutter lets say someone reviews an Abu Veritas Rod, so if this is a the first review on said rod start a new thread, then lets say Ole Jimbo decides to review a Abu Veritas as well i say he just makes another post in the same thread instead of starting a new thread. so that way if you want to know all about Abu Veritas Rods you have one thread to go to and read multiple reviews on it with discussions all in one spot.

Im surprised we havnt seen one that has more than 5 arms. I mean i think back to the shaving razor wars. Dual blades forever, then one company upped the ante and came out with 3 blades, then another company said oh yea why not 4 blades! Then the original company came out and said we cant be out done 5 blades! Yea thats right 5 blades we went there. Can you even buy the 5 bladed razor anymore? ha

Plan to use mine with 2 frogs this year, why throw one frog when you can throw two! I have no idea if this will even work well but it will be fun to try.

Agree Zona is the man, I crack up watching his show. My wife gets a kick out of him too. I know hes not for everyone but its good to have someone different out there doing what we all love here. Him and people like Mike Ike love them or hate them they have done good things for our sport.

I remember watching the Fishing University episode last year with them, seems like a good idea. I saw these on the BPS website though and the reviews were not so favorable, plus now i think they have them listed in the clearance section.

yeah i remember the PQ Reels and the PQ Tournament reels Bass Pro is sneaky. I was toying with getting a legit combo but when i thought about what i would get i was talking about $130 vs $40 so i figured $40 bucks was a easier stab on the wallet considering what i have already invested in fishing gear this year. Buying two new rods and reels back during the trade in program. So i keep going back to my original thought, the point of the purchase was that it was a cheap to try a new technique I currently in the past never considered. I'm sure the Binoic Plus can catch some fish and I will be putting it to the test in my farm ponds first.

Ok I bit the bullet since my VIP card worked 20% off, it got it down to $39.99 I'm a new owner of a bionic plus 6'6" spinning med combo. Agree it does feel a tad on the heavy side. Ill be sure to update after I get some fish to bend the rod. I never have used a spinning rod/reel so for the price I can't complain about the price to get in the door to give it a test run, if I like it ill upgrade next year via the rod/reel trade in program.

yea if it was the same reel you think they would let you swap it out. So they probably used some lower grade materials maybe on the reel? would be my guess for the no swap reason.

Found the flyer it is the Bionic Plus rod and reel. The rod says IM6.

Yea i grabbed the baitcaster combo and i about dropped it was so heavy! ha Glad to hear the rod is decent and like you said that would even be enough to justify the purchase. Ok im starting to think I may make a run to BPS then hehe

I guess i could always give it a try and if it sucked trade it in next year at the next rod and reel trade in still make it out pretty decent on being a guinea pig to try this product.

Dang to even sweeten the deal, based on the FAQ i should be able to use my VIP card and get 20% off as well since its a bass pro combo. I was just wondering if this some jankey combo they threw together, its so cheap it just has my buyer beware flag going up.

Yea its the new White Bionic Blade, I felt them last week in the store but didnt pull the trigger. Then this week i was throwing a weightless ocho on my baitcaster and huge backlash, and I'm like $50 bucks i could have grabbed a cheap spinning combo to try out and you didnt do it. ha They still have some Medium Action in 6'6" for sell so I am tempted to snag one. I have had good luck with BPS branded stuff i just know these White Bionic Blades are still pretty new on the market.

Caught alot of fish on the money minnow last year, Screw lock, 3/0 hook 1/8oz weight on the 3" Favorite 3 colors are Peral, white with chart, and white with red nose. All caught fish all year long. THe ponds i fished always had alot of grass they come through it great. They are called money minnows for a reason, when they were on sale mostly like a dollar off I would stock up. I grabbed some shadlicous to try out this year.
