Conquest 400
I bought 5 of them bnib last year and they all make a slight noise while casting, like said above it's the nature of the synchronized level wind. I have yet to oil them more and probably won't. The Calcutta 400D's I had before my Conquests were quiet during the cast, but they don't have the synchronized level wind system. Good luck

Most expensive lure you own
I've got a bunch of Mothers, definitely the most expensive baits I own.

Aldebaran rod pairing + NRX analysis
I had 10 Aldebaran 50/NRX combos and fished baits pushing 1oz with that combo and they never felt out of balance to me. I loved the Aldebaran/NRX combo's, my only gripe was the line capacity of the Aldebaran 50.

GOOD AGM DEEP CYCLE BATTERY
I have (4) X2/Northstar 31 series AGM's in my boat. Love em' and have had zero issues running all my units, etc. all day long. Good luck.

Googan Brand Rods?
Yep, I'd say most of their followers are teeny boppers. And yep, 100% utter nonsense, but hats off to them for milking and cashing in on that demographic of the fishing industry.

Going Fast
I rarely run WOT, except to let her breathe hard every once in a blue moon. Pushing a bass boat to its max out limits on speed just to make it to a spot 7 seconds before another competitor is dumb imo. Do we drive our cars with the pedal to the floor until the needle is maxed out on the speedometer?!?!? I think it's funny to see guys constantly swapping out props, etc just to gain 1-3 mph top end speed. If you are worried about going 70+ mph vs just 65mph it's time you leave the rods at home and pick up boat racing........ I drive my boat a majority of the time at the blistering speed of 33-35 mph and make it to my spots in plenty of time without putting myself, my passenger or my boat/motor at risk.

Calcutta Conquest 300 or 300A
I have five of the Conquest 400"A"'s (2018 version) and love em'. Haven't had them for that long yet, but so far so good. They're smooth as butter. Unless you can get the older version at a steal, I'd get the newer "A" version.
