  1. Just got back from Duke yesterday and read this and lifted....gosh so sorry. I can say I "somewhat" understand....today is a gift not to be taken for granted. They took out 56 staples out of my head and we talked to docs for three hours. Said in a nice way to get things in order. I too have stage four Bastoma (short version) and they couldn't get it all but all hope is not lost....We just never know how long we are going to be on the good Lords entertainment committee..... May your trip be blessed.
  2. Oh....my. And I was feeling sorry for myself that my wife nixed my outing today as the doc took out my staples on my head and said not to wear a hat or get it wet for a couple days.... So will just go out in garage and see if I can see good enough to tie a hook on....it will be sketchy by I have nothing but time right now. Sorry for you alls hard water....

  21. Played this game on many levels for a long time and now to just sit back and watch the developments is head moving. People are sooooo critical of everyone....gotta be me me me my my my way. Your fish isn't long enough for TV.....your fish is too big....they wear the wrong shirts...oh...you shake when you fish...you don't drink coffee or carry a banana in the boat....how come they pay you...what you doin here!!!! What a funny looking boat...on and on and on. Still love the sport.....love Probably won't be long before they have to wear helmets, finger protectors, have a sport drink on the belt, larger windshield to protect from flying objects, four to a boat.....and on. Sorry.....it's early....only on second cup Thank you Lord I still Love your gifts.
  22. It's fun huh.....addicting too
  23. Well for all the Debbie Downers....experts with no degree's and just plain knowledge trusting individuals...here's my two cents minus three. I have used the legal version out east here and inflammation relief on the hands and shoulders it's amazing and since I got acute pancreatitis due to inflammatory's this has been a nice change. Being almost 70...diagnosed with a killing cancer I guess I was willing to try something for pain. I also know there's more coming and the reviews on "MODERN" med's is JUST as scary but I'm willing to use both if need be. Will let ya all know what this lab rat goes through.
  24. Fish are opportunists with no hands.....something floats by...they grab...taste...spit...or swim off with it. I like a longer rod and lighter line....holding the rod high and bringing the bait back towards me....worked on the Columbia rather well...should work out here.
  25. When I fished Shasta a lot ...one of my favorite baits in the fall was a small one inch trap on a spinning rod....six lb line and long casts. Just murdered the spots and big trout. Tried a lot of lures....Cotton Cordel used to have a gray one with a black back......money on Shasa.. One Inch
