Abu Garcia Veritas 2.0 Vs Duckett Ghost! Please Help
The Veritas is a great rod for the money, especially if you can get a 1.0 on clearance. I have one left in my arsenal, it is one of my favorite multi-purpose rods. It is a MH/F - 7'3" rod, to me this is a perfect length. I have used it as a plastics/jig rod, bladed baits, frogs, and pitching/flipping.

Jack Of All Trades Or A Specialist ?
This..I have preferred ways like Bluebasser, but I'll do whatever is necessary to catch fish.

Shimano Discontinued Lifetime Warranty?
I have a Shimano V Rod that part of the reel seat is loose, this rod is 10 years old. I asked if there something I can do to fix it myself. Shimano said no, this is a manufacturing defect and we will replace it with a Crucial. I didn't do it because I love this rod, I didn't want to lose it, it isn't affecting my fishing so I'm ok with it.

Shimano Discontinued Lifetime Warranty?
I heard there is discussion about adding to the warranty program after the 1 year. I think similar to the G Loomis philosophy about replacing the rod at a set price.

Rods
I have the Fenwick ET Smallmouth and Fenwick Aetos. Simply, they kick ass. I have the following: 6'9" M/XF Spinning Smallmouth 6'10" M/F Casting Smallmouth 7' M/F Spinning Aetos 7'6" H/XF Casting Aetos They perform just as well or better than some 200 dollar rods. I don't own any HMXs though. I can regularly find the ET series for around 100 bucks and the Aetos for 130. I always have the two spinning rods with me and the 6'10" I have about half the time out with me. The Aetos beef stick I use for Carolina Rigging or flipping/pitching rod.

Arrrrg!!!
I think Raul should be a gracious host and let all of us Bass Resource Northerners stay at his place until March/April.

I own the 6'9 M/XF Spinning and the 6'10" M/F. If i knew about them earlier I would've probably had a lot more. I also have 7' M/F Spinning Aetos and 7'6" H/XF Aetos. All four just are awesome. Most of my outings both spinning rods are with me. They are my staples of my arsenal. To me they fish fish just as well as my Avid (ET Series) and I'll even say they are close to my previous generation Cumara. The Aetos slightly better. I hope they kept the same formula on the new line!

What To Pair With A Shimano 50?
Poor fish, it looks cold with that snow. I have my 50s paired with 6'8" MH/F Cumara with Curado 50E and a GLX 853C with a Chronarch 50MG. I'm looking for two new rods to pair with my other 50MG and Chronarch 50E. Last season they were used on my GLX854C and Fenwick ET Smallmouth 6'10 M/F.

Cabin Fevor Locked In Yet.
Yes it is finally driving me nuts. I've tore down and cleaned 15 baitcast reels and I have 6 more left. My rod have been wiped and cleaned down (17). Re-organized and inventoried my tackle 4 times now. I am anxiously waiting for the shows and sales to show up now.
- What New Reel Would You Compare To A Curado 200E7 ?

They usually have an online sale too. Possibly wait until the free shipping happens too.

What New Reel Would You Compare To A Curado 200E7 ?
Interesting. I guess a "good reel" is subjective. IMO these are good reels and can be found under a 100 bucks: BPS Pro Qualifier and Citica G. They are solid work horse reels. 100 dollar price point imo is where you start seeing good quality baitcasting gear. Also, my Curado Gs casted just as well as my Es did so I'm sure the "I" would've been fine. Maybe you should've re-titled the heading...looking for a high end baitcaster that is better than Curado E and here is my budget.

x2 but I'd wait if you can when the BPS Spring Classic Sale happens. I'm sure they will be on sale, probably will save 20% off.

Bait Companies?
Ive narrowed it down to zoom, ptl, berkley (powerbait and havoc) and bps worms specifically.

P-Line C21
I would disagree and agree with Tywithay, the ones I tried were crazy memory. I like floroclear better, still has more memory than I like but not horrid like C21.

Kayak Bass Fishing!
Wow you must have some great balance. I couldn't stand on one of those. I own a Wilderness Ride 135, it's winter so I can't post pictures of it set up. I'll have to go see if I have taken a picture of my "Ride" all set up.

Questions About A Rod..
OH DOH, he's commonly known to us Seattle Mariners fans as sellout or P"A"y Rod...I should've caught on!
