Bass Pro Spring Classic Flyer Is Live On Site!
Yeah nothing jumps out at me, but I will take advantage on a couple items. Like a locally made braid which I used last season is on sale and will grab 3 packs. Originally was going to go for the for the buy 2 and get 1 free for BPS braid, but the cost is even basically...but I at least have confidence in using the other braid. I will take advantage of the Havoc sale and grab a couple of the arashi squarebills. Other than that, that is it...originally was going to buy a BPS Crankin stick with the rod trade in, but the price of a Sellus Crankbait rod I can buy elsewhere was too good to pass up.

I Cant Wait To Make That First Cast Of The Season

Sellus Cranking Rod Vs Bps Cranking Stick
So I was planning to get a BPS cranking stick during the rod trade in, which would make it around 70 bucks up here in Canada...but I just found some Sellus Cranking sticks for 30 bucks. So curious if any of you guys compared the two and if the Sellus price would be a better bang for my buck than the BPS Cranking Stick or the BPS one that good that I should just go and get that. Thanks for the help guys!

Spring Classic Flyer Has $99 Curado's
Sounds like a decent braid...Well I need a refill of 40lb and 50lb braid. (Not really, I just take comfort that i have enough line supply at home...even though I probably don't need to change out any of my braid for a few years.) I'm just out of 40lb braid and have 2 spools of 50lb braid left (125 and 150).

Spring Classic Flyer Has $99 Curado's
WOW smoking deal, unfortunately up here in Canada, it will be 74.99 with trade in. Would've been nicer for 10 bucks off so I can grab a few packs of plastics. BUT all is good even at that price. I did a quick run down on my equipment last night in preparation for me to go to BPS on February 28th, 2014. When I submit and enter a contest to win my boat.

Need A Rod
For the applications you are looking to do, I'd pick a MH/F rod. In that price range I'd recommend a Shimano Compre.

Check out an Fenwick Aetos M/F - very versatile rod. if you look around you can find one in your price range. If not, check out the Elite Tech M/XF, another versatile rod.
