  1. Yeah nothing jumps out at me, but I will take advantage on a couple items. Like a locally made braid which I used last season is on sale and will grab 3 packs. Originally was going to go for the for the buy 2 and get 1 free for BPS braid, but the cost is even basically...but I at least have confidence in using the other braid. I will take advantage of the Havoc sale and grab a couple of the arashi squarebills. Other than that, that is it...originally was going to buy a BPS Crankin stick with the rod trade in, but the price of a Sellus Crankbait rod I can buy elsewhere was too good to pass up.
  2. Thanks guys, I think I will go with the Sellus then and get 2 of them.
  3. My picks would be Fenwick Aetos or Elite Tech Smallmouth and Crucial.
  4. I have to wait until almost end of June for bass season to start, but I've been ready since the end of the season November 30th. I usually fish for Pike until bass season opens.
  5. So I was planning to get a BPS cranking stick during the rod trade in, which would make it around 70 bucks up here in Canada...but I just found some Sellus Cranking sticks for 30 bucks. So curious if any of you guys compared the two and if the Sellus price would be a better bang for my buck than the BPS Cranking Stick or the BPS one that good that I should just go and get that. Thanks for the help guys!
  6. lmbfisherman - pretty self explanatory...if not it is Largemouth Bass Fisherman.
  7. I memorize them by putting them in a spreadsheet.
  8. Yeah, basically you can break even. With the part time money earning there you can buy all the equipment you need and your wife won't hound you for spending all the money on gear. A true WIN/WIN!
  9. Do you still get discounts? Now that would be awesome.
  10. They always "know". If not today or tomorrow....she will catch you some time down the line.
  11. Sounds like a decent braid...Well I need a refill of 40lb and 50lb braid. (Not really, I just take comfort that i have enough line supply at home...even though I probably don't need to change out any of my braid for a few years.) I'm just out of 40lb braid and have 2 spools of 50lb braid left (125 and 150).
  12. I was just about to ask that and that is interesting to know about Sufix making BPS Braid.
  13. Out of all those, I'd say Chronarch....but having said that, maybe you should wait until the Curado Is are released?
  14. Falls in the range of 15. So 75, sounds like a great deal.
  15. Man at that price, it maybe time to try a Carbonlite finally.
  16. Thanks man! Great to know, I may try the BPS Brand braid for the first time if that is true.
  17. I wish like tomorrow. lol I am not sure why I didn't get it yet though. Hopefully today for me.
  18. Mind saying what the percentage off sale the lines are? I am looking for buy 40lb braid and possibly 50lb. Also does the boxes include the spinnerbait version?
  19. WOW smoking deal, unfortunately up here in Canada, it will be 74.99 with trade in. Would've been nicer for 10 bucks off so I can grab a few packs of plastics. BUT all is good even at that price. I did a quick run down on my equipment last night in preparation for me to go to BPS on February 28th, 2014. When I submit and enter a contest to win my boat.
  20. For the applications you are looking to do, I'd pick a MH/F rod. In that price range I'd recommend a Shimano Compre.
  21. Check out an Fenwick Aetos M/F - very versatile rod. if you look around you can find one in your price range. If not, check out the Elite Tech M/XF, another versatile rod.
