I have been threatening to get a lews a lot lately, my buddy is a lews dealer and ive gotten to play with many of thier models. it sucks cuz they make so many nice reels lol. I am torn between the tourny pro and the the tourny ss lol

the sweet beaver is my go to bait when it comes to creatures I always always always have one t rigged on the deck. it makes a good follow up bait as well!

well kinda it is...since it costs less than 45 bucks to make lol. just like almost every single rod out there at that price point

what are your intended presentations with each rod?

I have a ritual before long days on the water or in the woods. that is eat a light dinner, force one out at wake up, no breakfast, try to poop again before launching the boat...try hard lol I have yet to take a dump while on the water.

they are friggin awesome...i just dont care for the reflex guides. if the had the same guides as the *** I would like it better. just me though I know a lot of guus like the reflex guides but the rod is a awesome, sensitive and strong! super comfy too

I do think bass care about gear. especially boats. I usually hammer fish in my dads stratos, but I cant do very well in my friends alumnacraft. now odly enough the bass in my local lake really seem to cater to trackers especially red ones...wierd lol the last open I fished was wone by a red skeeter, 2nd was a red nitro and third was a red tracker...red! lol yes ive been drinking

e10 doesnt artificially raise octane...it DOES raise the octane...very minimally though. e10 87 is more like 87.6 lolhowever, E85 for example is 114octane E85 is getting pretty popular in the drag racing community because you can really lay the timing to it. the down fall is having to redo yoir fuel system for way more volume and corrosion proofing

I lile throwing deep cranks near thick weeds in northern PA and UPSTATE NY now if I could just make the muskies leave them alone id be happy. learn new tricks OP learn to adapt and you will do more catchin instead a haulin water

I just dont see how that is possible if braid floats im not tryin to start a fight here, are you saying that braids smaller diameter causes less drag therefore more depth is achievable? an example being that say 14# braid being considerably smaller than flouro of the same strength will get a deep crank deeper even though the braid is more bouyant than flouro?

I never said anything about poorly workin I said it hinders performance on achievable depth. I ise braid on my shallow runners sometimes. but when it comes to deep crankin mono or floiro is the way to go imho

1/4 or 1/8 with flouro braid I lile to birn the end a little but I still keep it inder 1/4

I have alwaus wanted a sustain. I fished the flats or tampa quite often with a stradic FI and FJ I loved them on my st croix tidemasters. I can only imagine how sweet the sustain is. since I moved back to PA I havnt touched my stradics
