  1. that would be great if it was in florida.
  2. i love both of mine. i use them for big spooks, frogs, skinny dippers etc. so far (knock on wood) they are doing the job.
  3. i am sure it is still under warranty. merc is pretty good about things like that. the only thing that sucks, is it ruined your day on the water. let us know what the problem was.

missouri minnows work well. i know a guy that uses grass shrimp.
  7. your name is a great color to use when in florida. any place that you can fish, fish. if someone kicks you off, then go elsewhere. just be polite and move on.
  8. i just wanted everyone to know that a member on this site--whom i have never met hooked me up. i was looking for some gambler crankbaits a couple of weeks ago because i am fishing the gambler free tournament at the kissimmee chain in 2 weeks and you can only use gambler products. i found some cranks at a store in ohio, so i asked the ohio guys if they were familiar with the store and if someone wouldn't mind going there and picking up some cranks for me. well one of our members said yes and his name is bryan (nasTMcfingas is his name on the site). he purchased the baits and sent them to me before he even received my check. bryan you are a great man! i believe in karma and you are sure to receive a whole bunch of it. this site is great and so are the people on it. i just wanted everyone on this site to know that nasTMcfingas is the man!
  9. right on roger! nice fish. i will be fishing kissimmee in 2 weeks. how is the water?
  10. what is the significance of your design? people are gonna ask. is it just because you fish? i believe a tatt should have a significant meaning--something that tells a story.
  11. when not fishing i surf. we have had some super fun wind chop the last couple of weeks. this summer i hope to get back on the golf course. i had my game down to a 10 handicap, but then i started fishing bass tournaments------------------needless to say i haven't golfed in 3 years.
  12. thank you steven. i have a guy who lives in ohio who is hooking me up. if i need more, i will order from fff outfitters. thanks again
  13. does anyone have a info on kissimmee chain? mainly kissimmee. please hook a florida brother up. pm me please. thanks
  14. great band! i was front row at some dive bar in fort lauderdale about 15 years ago. those cats put on a great show. body count was another band that was great, but never quite blew up. cop killer caused a huge stir with the media down here. i forget the bands name, but they opened up for body count--they rocked as well.
  15. do any of you ohio guys live by a store called fin feather fur outfitters? if you do, would you be willing to go to the store and pick me up a couple of crankbaits? i will pay for all expenses of course. please let me know if someone can help me out. thanks in advance.
  16. killer video kid! what kind of video camera are you using?
  17. is it possible to replace the ceramic ring that fits in the guide? it is not the tip, but the second guide down. do i have to replace the whole guide? thanks in advance.
  18. actually it is sfwm that is moving the water. they are moving it through the caloosahatchee river to the west coast. the water levels on the west coast are dangerously close to salt water intrusion.
  19. skinny dippers are hot on the lake now. colors i like to throw are watermelonseed, watermelon red, and most natural florida colors. if you are staying at roland martins, get a map of the lake and fish spots like observation shoal, coots bay, pelican bay and ask the guys at the tackle shop for other areas. the water level (as of yesterday) is 10.92 and dropping so be very careful when running the lake. there are some big fish being caught on the lake right now so you are coming at a good time. check out http://markkingfishing.com/lake_okeechobee_fishing_report.htm his last couple of reports are spot on. hope this helps
  20. voracious indeed. i once caught a 6 pounder that had a baby duck half way down its throat.
  21. it was most definitely HOT! i only had a 3 hour window to fish, so i chose to go out there. didn't bring a camera, but my phone has one. the only problem with a camera phone is that all the fish look the same. i am in the process of making a mount for video camera and this summer i want to start making some short videos of my outings. gartracker-your friend knows what's up. that is the key to catching bigger fish on the flats. find the holes and you will score. that is why i love my flats boat, it gets me to those tight spots with little effort.
  22. fished lox from 1-4 and caught about 20 fish. big fish was 4 pounds and all fish came on swim baits. the water is very shallow and getting lower. lots of schooling fish out west. fun little session.
  23. see what i mean sir snook? nice fish, and i am sure it swam away nice and healthy.
  24. it is really good and has been for a couple of weeks. the best part is it is only going to get better. i fished last tuesday and caught over 20 fish with a solid 7 pounder. my club had a little tourny at holiday yesterday with big fish takes all, and a 7.16 took the cash. my partner and i caught over 30 fish with 3.6 being the biggest. caught many fish that were 2 and 3 pounds, but never got the big bite. the big ones are there, you just have to find them.
