Bps Fluoro Xps
It used to be made by Toray I believe and now seaguar. Both are solid companies and though I am sure their BPS formula will be different than their normal stuff, most people say it is a good line.

One Rod Company?
I've tried tons of rods and company's. The reason I stick with one is because you become aware of that company's actions and tapers. Example, St croix and Abu rods are generally heavier than their rating. So a MH Veritas fishes much like another company's heavy. So I found myself in the past fishing a chatterbait with a mh in one company and a H with another. Why not just have several of one company's H action rods and not have to worry or think about other rods? I have 4 heavy action dobyns rods because they can do almost everything. That way I don't have to get crazy mixing and matching company ratings with the techniques I use them for. It is just easier for me. However, having the OCD and bait monkey affliction that I do, I am not afraid to try new things. Some people prefer having several rods like I did in the past, and that's fine. Sometimes you just find "the" rod for the application you want regardless of brand

Sunline Sniper
I really don't know the difference between the two however I use regular sniper and it is awesome. Seriously, it has a very thin diameter compared to other lines of the same lb test. It is very easy to cast as well. It has some stretch and isn't as abrasion resistant as sunline shooter, but for the price it is a great line.

Chronarch 100D7
I have two with Hawtech handles and upgraded bearings. Do not let them go, they are amazing.

Pinnacle Rods
It has a finger shaped ergonomic grip on the lower part and the exposed blank is at the top. If you grip the rod like that, it's fine. I happen hold the rod in a way that I prefer and exposed blank at the base. Therefore the acs seat actually blocks contact with the blank with how I hold the rod. I then had to change my grip on both how I hold the rod AND reel. Again, no big deal for some, but I can't stand it

Pinnacle Rods
Every review I have read has been positive including tackletours glowing review. As has been mentioned, the acs reel seat is a deal breaker for me. I have one rod with an acs seat that I bought because it is a high quality custom. Even then, I have thought about getting the seat re done. If that doesn't bother you, I have no doubt you would be happy with that rod

Metanium Or Chronarch Ci4 +
Why not just go for the highest quality instead of questioning whether you made the right choice. I don't mind spending extra on gear and I always end up going alittle higher because I know if I start low, I will end up selling it to get the higher end stuff

Need A New Jig Rod On A Major Budget
Vendetta on sale or the Tec-Spec rods offered at dicks sporting goods. The Tec-Spec rods are great especially for the price. The first generation are on clearance and can be had for something crazy like $30 which is a total steal

30Lb Braid Woes...
If you are casting too hard you can snap the line. I learned that the hard way when I first tried frog fishing lol. Too much speed and a sudden stop from digging in can be a bad recipe.

Why Does Everyone Hate Graphite Side Plates?
Non handle side doesn't really matter. Handle side graphite will flexes and makes it's harder to reel in.

Best Value 7'6" Heavy Action Flipping Rod ?
I'm a dobyns guy but even I would recommend the veritas 7''11 at $90 bucks. Invest in a heavier reel to balance it out. The 7'9H veritas is meant for Arigs and as such actually think it might be over powered for what you want. I may catch hell for it but the skeet reese 8ft flippin stick would also work for you

Don't Throw A Spinnerbait On A Crankbait Rod!!!
A heavier crank rod can handle spinnerbaits and chatterbaits. If I was having that many missed strikes, I would add a trailer hook as maybe they were striking the skirt and missing the hook. My 705cb has enough power to stick them unless it's a heavier Spinnerbait in which case I use a 734 heavy action. Unless you are using a noodle of a rod (which does have it's uses), I would assume they were short striking it.

Before Technique Spec Rods, There Was Rick Clunn.
I did read his article where he mentioned using the same rod for all applications. I also wonder if you are referring to me regarding the Spinnerbait mojo rod for frogging in that thread lol. While I agree to some extent that a single rod do almost everything, I don't feel that it can do so ideally. I also know that rick was more than willing to design TS treble hook rods for W&M that where broken down so specifically that they were different based on water clarity for an intended lure. I also know that in his second place finish on Falcon last year, he had differnt rods and reels on his deck as the pictures showed. I saw daiwa lexas, wm reels as well as his cranking rods and skeet rods. And while I also do agree that expensive and new doesn't make it better, technology can help.

Reel Painting

Larry Nixon Berkley Rod?
Larry Nixon was sponsored by Abu Garcia which is under the pure fishing umbrella which owns berkely. Maybe he used berkely rods in the past but he was cut by Abu and now is sponsored by Dobyns

An Informative Curado I Vlog
I may have not construed what I mean correctly. I have no problem with Shimano trying create a spool with better balance and better tolerances. However, what annoys me is that they are passively saying that their previous iterations where not balanced or out of balance which I do not believe. If shimano had been releasing reels with spools that were out of balance,, we would have heard of it. Heck, if anyone had, we would have stayed away from them. If this new spool was THAT revolutionary, why wouldn't it have been touted in their higher end lines?

I Need A 7'3" Or 7'3" Frog / Jig Rod Suggestion Under $100
Honestly, A veritas is going to be crazy stiff so unless you are fishing THE heaviest vegetation out there, go to maybe a MH. I had a 7ft heavy veritas and it barely had a bend in the tip with a 1oz jig on the end. Same with the Mojo frog rod by St. Croix, It is basically a broom handle. My suggestions would be 1. MH Veritas in 7ft as it will allow you to walk the dog better than a 7'3 especially in sparse vegetation. 2. Spinnerbait mojo rod as it is rated a MH and is a much better option in that it is lighter but plently powerful. 3. Carbonlite 7ft Heavy.

An Informative Curado I Vlog
I'm sure its a great reel, but the spool stuff annoys me. Are they saying that their previous spools weren't balanced? Why wasn't that a selling point on the Metanium or Chronarch CI4?

Why Did The Veritas Drop To$80?
But isn't the vendetta 79? Why have two rods in the same price range? New ones will probably have the 3m resin pure fishing bought out
