  1. The TP is one of the best reels out there. If you want a solid reel that can take a use and keep on going, it is your reel. The only reason that I didn't keep mine was because I like to customize and own own rarer stuff. If I had to have one line of reels, it would be either the TP or Zillion and that is considering the Zillion is 120 more it could sway your opinion.
  2. DX 704 DX 746 Daiwa T3 Daiwa TD-Ito Shimano Chronarch D7 Daiwa Tdz type R Zillion 50th anniversary Custom Anodized parts from Hawgtech
  3. This is me to a T. I can't reel left handed with baitcasters. I've Taught myself to pitch left handed rather than learn to crank lefty. Spinning reels I crank left handed lol
  4. Sometimes there is a reason why some things are more expensive than other
  5. More drag, dual braking, more bearings I believe
  6. Well I use a 705 for squarebills, rattletrap, medium diving cranks, poppers and jr. Spooks with 12lb mono. The 734 gets 17lb fluoro
  7. I use graphite except for this rod. With that much line out, I want a rod that has more give to keep the fish pinned on. The 765 glass is my deep water rod but can be used for much more. A friend of mine uses it for big squarebills and spinnerbaits too.
  8. I used it. It was heavy, tip heavy and a broom. I like St. Croix but it was impossible to use that rod all day with frogs and just as hard to walk the dog with it. Honestly you would be better using the Spinnerbait mojo as it is basically a H action but lighter with a softer tip.
  9. Tournament mg will be fine for that. The super duty is lighter but has brass gearing for really heavy duty stuff so for cranking I would say it is unecessary. The low gear ratio super duty is meant for a rigs, swimbaits etc
  10. I use the champ 734 for single hook moving baits like buzzbaits, chatterbaits, swim jigs, spinnerbaits and small swimbaits. The lone exception is big spooks which I also threw on it and it worked great.
  11. Both great reels but I preferred the tournament because of the 85mm handle, stronger drag and what I felt to be a slightly smoother feel. That being said, don't think I am taking away from the PQ as it is also a money reel. Just comes down to preference.
  12. I wonder if he is doing the custom anodizing too lol. My newest addiction
  13. I just have swimbaits hooks for these. Looks like I'm gonna have to hit up some jig heads fo sho lol
  14. I've had great success with them. Only problem I had was on twin lakes the rock bass tore the tails off them by the minute. That was annoying lol
  15. Good to see. They are a great company
  16. The original viscous was junk. Worst fluoro I have ever used. It was big and totally unmanageable. The one pro that people say is that is strong. Duh, it's line diameter is usually much larger than other companies and as such has a higher breaking strength. I honestly had much better results with Berkely Vanish and that is not sarcasm.
  17. Savvy 735 and a lews super duty high speed
  18. I was going to suggest the 734 as well. It is one of the most versatile moving bait rods out there including chatterbaits, swim jigs, buzzbaits, small swimbaits, spinnerbaits and the like. I keep fluoro on mine.
  19. Good Job Randy!
  20. It was Toray that made the line before if I remember correctly
  21. Same here....my walmart still had the OLD vendettas at full price
  22. I have 2 swept with shimano knobs and just got some stuff anodized by them...great company and a great bunch of guys
