  1. After owning two boats with it. I dont think I could ve without it. I have learned to use both feet and fish more out of the front. The problem I have is my 1197 is always on the wrong side.i may need two of em. Haha
  2. You didnt list a Gambler... Id rank them above any listed.
  3. Wacky senko or drop shot
  4. We fished one a couple weeks ago. I am not a fan it takes up the whole weekend. You are up early getting stuff ready on Saturday then sleep all day on Sunday. Trust me momma gets bent when you spend your day off sleeping instead of hanging with the family.
  5. I fish the aba couples. I have a hard time registering for tournaments off their website so just pay at the ramp. When buying your membership you then gotta call them and give them your ssn# kinda a joke.
  6. I have two I use often. The gopro black with a remote and a gopro white which runs hard wired on my console. YouTube shaye baker he has a ton of helpful videos.
  7. I dont drop shot them anymore i fish em wacky on a #1 eagle claw hook with a drywall nail stuffed in the head. Works much better and hangs up in the rocks much less
  8. Well I put one on my boat tonight. I listened to the sounds and to my ears I couldn't help but thinking... I just spent a chunk on this gimmick? Something about it has always intrigued me. I have been a coyote hunter for along time and have seen what catching a coyote in the right mood can do to an electronic caller. I have the scars to prove it. I see this is real similar. We are fishing an over night smalley tournament this weekend and I am anxious to turn it on. This particular lake gives us all fits when they go back down during the late summer. It is loaded with bait balls (shad and smelt) The smalleys hang on the bottom, in the rocks. I was hoping by using my electronics, it would pull them up off the bottom and expose themselves to be dropshotted.
  9. You can put a plug on it just like a boat or a camper. Hook the wire up to the taillight wire of the plug and run with your headlights on. Done and done
  10. I am going to start wearing long sleeve white cotton from walmart. Wish someone made a longsleeve tshirt hoody.
  11. We have a Tx coming up next week, we fish all night. I have always had ok luck with the usual jitterbug buzzbait ect. But am curious about soft plastics. Do you of you fish black or plum colored soft plastics? The generally feed on crayfish during the full moon so thinking about throwing a black beaver or black/blue craw. Tell me what you would do.
  12. Johnson cartridge pump i changed all mine out this week took about an hour to change 4 pumps
  13. If your in a bass club talk to your federation I got a 1400$ 109 mg for $900 brand new
  14. I have found I am alot better at figuring out non productive water then I am at finding productive water. I hate prefishing cause when I show up tx day they dont bite my bait and I stay with the plan and I have a big goose egg.
  15. 5050 LED lights off Ebay. wired up in all compartments. Especially the livewells is a must have! Also put them around the deck of my boat with a remote control dimmer switch. a seriously easy upgrade for about $60 total. I would agree the USB port is good you can get one at walmart in the auto sections that is USB and a cirgarette lighter. a 12v PowerBubbles installed in my livewells I wouldn't be without either. It keeps the fish even more lively then they are in the lake. CD player to play the hickhop stuff that gets the girls in bikinis dancing.
  16. If you wanna make friends out of the boaters in the club learn how to back a boat in the water. if you all ready know how.. do multiple boats. Run back down to the dock and start grabbing keys!
  17. find the fish bite better when I am rolling some Jawga Boys Bottleneck Mikel Knight or Earl Dibbles Jr.
  18. The bass in my pond dont seem to mind of mickey dont float.
  19. So lets here the skinny from the guys that own them. Do they work? Are they worth the money or just another gimmick? They have me wondering if I should invest in one or use my $400 somewhere else? Thanks
  20. I fish wacky senkos more the anything else on a ds. Dont be affraid to throw anything you would throw otherwise!
  21. There is a geriatric bass fishing club! They only fish 10 minutes then ***** about their wives for the rest of the day. Its the GBAA!!!
  22. Id say your rod is too stiff amd its pulling out try a medium. I don't set the hook just reel hard with rod tip down. I have lost more good ones on the jump them I have ever lost during the fight.
  23. Hawks are great boats! Youd be more then happy with it!
  24. Yes but I am quickly seeing that even tho I got a premium price for my ranger replacing it will also take a premium price. I looked at the champ the other night.. BEAUTIFUL boat! But the layout left less storage than in my 18'. I have since found a couple late 90s Triton 20's that are lake ready so may head in that direction if nothing else pans out.
  25. I bought my first boat a couple years ago. Always wanting to own a Ranger I purchased one knowing that I would someday "upgrade". Well that time has come. I had a gentleman come by yesterday and pay me what I had in the boat. It wil make him a great boat and he will take care of her I have a couple boats scheduled too look at, a 95 Gambler 21' with a 200 Evinrude and a Champion 20' with a 200 Merc. Either one makes a quality boat, I know I struggle with the boy side that wants the cool super fast boat or the more defined fishing boat. Do I want the sports car or the SUV? What to do What to do.... Still a Ranger guy at heart....
