  6. not quite understanding what your saying, so when you set the hook, a centrifugal brake tab will come loose, and on next cast you cant cast far? are the centrifugal brake tabs pushed in? you'll hear a click when they are
  7. i use a 8mm red bead. 2 of them.they not only protect the knot form the weight, but also bang together making noise and "supposedly' attract more fish

  11. wait for the 4th of july sale to start happening here in the next fet days, and you can pick up a veritas, ***, mojo bass, for around $80-90. i know that's more than your asking but you'll thank me one you get a quality rod. itll be more sensitive, better warranty, etc... also the shimano compre is good for around $80 if they go on sale
  12. berkley big game. in whatever LB you want. ive put that line through ringer and back and its still holds up. i mean your fishing for panfish, they dont fight that hard... the memory isnt too bad on it, cast far, and is avaliable in clear or green. plus you can pick up a 1000yd spool at wally world for like $6, that way if you dont like it, its not like you lost a lot of money.
  13. is the 755 there crankbait rod?
  14. even though it says 3/8 ive throwen a 1/4 oz weight with a small plastic and can still cast it far, the *** rods have a pretty good tip on them. that dosnt apply to all rods though.. if i were you, i would get a heavy, that way you can run jigs, do some light punching, with out having to worry
