Most Sensitive Rod For 150?
I have the new model crucial, 7'2 MH xf tip, its a nice rod, a little more sensitive than my ***. But not by much at all. I TRULY believe you would like the *** the best. The reason i say that is beacuse the balance and weight is ALOT better than the crucial. And i know you said you dont care about the weight or balance, but trust me those two things are a big part of a good fishing rod.Go for a 7'3 MH and enjoy!

Help I Need Football Jig Rod!
exactly, the lightest football jig i use is 1/2 and the shallowest i fish them is 18-20ft. when your down that deep and dealing with current, wind etc... its hard to feel your bait. when you bump up to heaver lures it eliminates those problems

Help I Need Football Jig Rod!
Check under powell casting rods on tackle warehouse. They make a "football jig specific rod" its like 7'5 i believe.. check it out. any MH rod between 7'2-7'6 will work good. You want a longer rod to get a good hookset in thag deep water. I use two rods for my football heads, a 7'3 & 7'6 both work well. As for line, i use 30lb braid to 12lb fluoro. Works perfect ! Check out the *** *** rods in the 7'3 or 7'6 length. There what i use for my football jigs, And are plenty sensitive and good backbone for hooksets. Let me know if you have anymore questions

Whats The Smallest Fish You Ever Caught
My smallest was a rock bass. I was throwing a drop shot with a 3.6 inch jp hammershad, and i didnt even feel the rock bass. Needless to say, the rock bass was smaller than the bait, dont know how it got hooked but it was pretty funny

Fish Tales Funny And True!
Ya i get exactly what your saying. I find it quite funny what some people thing is a "5lb bass". Another one that was real funny to me was when me, my cousin and his friend were out fishing, his friend asked what my pb was, i told him it was a 7.8, he went on to say that his friends dad is a pro angler in california(my cousin lives in sacramemto,im in WA state) and he cought a 28lb. Its funny how far some people can go with there made up stories.

Clear Water Baits?
Also, if your using cranks or a jig with a rattle, you can take those off, the bass should have no problem seeing the bait, and sometimes the extra noise will spook them

Lead Free Lures
Only thing you really need to look out for is terminal tackle and jigs. Look for stainless steel or tungstin instaid of lead. Tungstin is quite a bit more expensive thena lead though..

$100 Speed Spool
yours might have just been a bad one.. i have one and like it alot, its not as nice as some of my higher end reels but it will still cast a weighless senko or fluke a good 25-30 yards with 17lb fluoro, thats pretty far to me.. i like it though, id recommend getting another.

What's The Difference In These Rods?
Those technique specific rods are nice, but i think therr a load of b.s. sometimes. Is there really that big of a difference between a worm/ jig rod and a spinnerbait rod? Not really. Almost 99.9% of the people i know use a MH fast action rod to throw there spinnerbaits on, which is also the same rod they throw jigs and pladtics on. If i were you i would carry 4-5 rods and you would be set. 1. Two 7'1 -7'3 MH fast action rods, to throw plastics and jigs on. You can use these rods for t-rigs, c-rigs, spinnerbaits, buzzbaits, small swimbaits, all your plastic bait needs. And have two, that way you spend less time retying on new baits. i would run 17lb fluorocarbon on one, and 14on the other. 2. A 7'6 MH fast action rid with 50lb braid. Use this rod to punch, frog, flip and pitch to heavy cover areas. 3. A 7' medium or MH moderate action rod for all your cranking needs, including topwater. Run mono or fluorocarbon line 4. A 7' medium fast action spinning rod for all your finesse stuff like drop shot, shakey head, wacky worm, small grubs, i would run 15lb braid to 6-8lb fluorocarbon on this setup. With that setup, you should be able to cover just about any technique you want to and need to use. Hope that helps some, and helps you understand that you can use one rod for multiple purpose's and dont have to have 10-12 technique specific rods just to be able to fish those techniques correctly. Its all marketing by the fishing companys... SOrry for any mis spelling, im on my phone lol

Drop Shotting?
i think the whole point of a drop shot is it allows you to keep your bait in the same spot for a period of time, say right next a stump, the weight dosnt move, unless you move it, but you can ever so lightly shake the bait and not move the weight, driving the bass crazy. if i see a peice of cover i like on the graph, ill first hit it with a jig, then if nothing hits the jig, ill throw the drop shot down there, and work it for a bit, and that usually gets the bass to bite. so here are the key areas i like to throw a dropshot, dock posts, outside weed lines, select peices of cover (stump, big boulder on a gravel flat, laydown) you can pretty much throw it anywhere, the key is to move the bait, not the weight. and i love the roboworm fx sculpin in ayu color, KILLS them on my local lakes, ill go through 2 packs in a day if the bite is on. i usually have about 14 inches between sinker and my hook. and make sure to nose hook the bait, gives it more action

Seaguar Senshi Vs. Trilene Xl
Both are good Monos, i like the spiderwire mono, its in the same price range, but offers a little less stretch, so if i were you i wold go with the senshi or spiderwire, both have low memory, good knot strenght and overall would be a good line for hardbaits. i use the spiderwire for all my topwaters, cranks, and jerkbaits, and never have had a problem yet. hope this helps some, David

I Would Like Your Opinions...
the c-rig is good for deeper water, andcovering a lot of water, you can cast it way the heck out there ( say you fishing a point) and slowly bring it back in covering lots of water across that point. I WOULD NOT use it in cover, to easy to get hung up IMO

How To Catch Bigger Bass
Bigger bass are bigger for a reason. They are smart. Find a good main or secondary point this year, more towards summer time when water warms up.. and use your electronics to try and locate a few fish out there, Cast that swimbait out(big hudd), And slowly bring it back in. See how that works for you
