Worm fishing is a slow finesse presentation, watching the grass grow slow. Wtless finesse worm and fluke fishing is one of my better techniques. Try this especially during spawn, but it has to be slow ,with accurate presentation. Have to slow down to worm fish, good luck.

12# or 15# green big game can't go wrong.

Get shimano in your price range, you should get a great rod with an over the counter warranty. Can't beat them.

Used 10#, 12# and 15# big game green for years, as of yet I see no reason to change.

I have the jerkbait and squarebill rods paid a lot more for them. I like these rods they are quality rods.

Catt, I was fishing south point of Yocum with sparse timber N31.1944, W93.3645 area.I was fishing 15ft to 25ft.There is a little creek runs in that area. I was sitting in 15 ft when I hung fish. I just moved my camper to this area recently and not familiar with Gilbert or Wilson. I fished this area because I felt like I needed to learn my back yard first. After that I do plan to boat to other areas that have been covered in this thread. Any suggestions in this area would be appreciated.
