  1. "i'm just gonna grab my bogo grip" drives me nuts, and listening to Rolands wife all day would make me drive my boat straight over the dam.

It took me every bit of 5 years and one class during summer school (which was awful) to get my education degree in phys ed and health. I also played baseball which was very time consuming. If I can give you any advice, dont be in a rush to graduate, it is the best time of your life, and working everyday in the real world sucks compared to 3-5 classes a day and beer galore.
  3. i'd go with the nitro hands down, and the 150 will be great. Although if you could work out a deal for a 200 that would be better . good luck.
  4. i'v used vanish florocarbon for about 3 years now for most of my soft plastics and topwaters and have had no real problems with it. I condition my line with reel & line magic, so that seems to help, but I like the no stretch qualities especially for topwater baits and I find it easier to cast than braided line. IMO.
  5. i have 2 rod racks that look like Natural's, but I actually have a outdoors room. When we bougth the house, the room had green carpet so we painted the wall a light brown to give an outdoors look, and I have my fishing gear, deer heads, gun case, ext. all in there. "my little getaway"
  6. i think if you can get 100 bucks and the curado that is a good deal. check it out first and see just how used it is, if its in ok-good condition, do it if he will. good luck
  7. I too love my curado's and have been using shimano's for years, but I bought a revo this weekend and absolutely love it. I bought the revo s for under a hundred bucks and cant wait to really play with it this spring. I messed around a little bit at home and love how smooth the drag is and how small/light it is. posse might be growing
  8. yeah, that tom mabe guy is hilarious, but I told a telemarketer once when she called and asked for me that he passed away last week, she felt so terrible and didnt call back
  9. 100+ 10lbers, thats crazy, where you from?
  10. sweet knee pads
  11. cordell suspending spots and the riverside ribbon tail worms (electric purple), so cheap and durable.
  12. Grossman will score 21 points for the colts because he is terrible and the bears D can only do so much against peyton, Colts in a blowout 42-17 Go HORSE.
  13. I caught a ton on the chatterbait last year and my biggest was a 7.5 pounder on a black and blue one.
  14. guys the colts are in the best possible situation they could ask for. I know playing the pats isnt exactly great in the playoffs, but they match up better with them than san diego. Plus The AFC will slaughter either one of the NFC teams. GO HORSE.
  15. for throwing plastics and stuff, the flouro will be fine, but I would suggest using just a good mono for spinnerbaits, cranks, ext. On these fast moving baits, I really dont think line being invisible (which is flourocarbons main feature) is a huge factor and the stretch you get from mono on spinnerbaits and cranks is good.
  16. when I was younger, my parents used to make me where my treestand harness with a rope tied to something on the bank(tree, post) it was a little frustrating on big lakes, but for ponds and pits where I usually go, it wasnt so bad.
  17. I used them last year a lot and for some reason I did not get as many bites with the forked ones. We like to use wacky rigged dingers in the river for smallmouth and usually catch a ton, but we didnt seem to get as many bites with the split tail. Good luck
  18. absolutely being on the water, and here's why, you can go to see speakers, watch tv, and look on the internet and many times, you forget exactly what they were saying, but when you actually go out and experience something either good or bad (ex. losing a big fish or finding a pattern) you remember that and can associate what you learned to the experience on the water. So I say nothing compares to actually being on the water.
  19. i bougth the spinnerbait rick clunn last year and really liked it especially for the money. I went back and bought the entire line and used them all last year. I really love the feel, they are fairly light and very durable. I totally recommend these.
  20. i prefer the 1/4 ounce personally because I really like the slow fall and because of how the bait works, it gives great vibration and feel even at the smaller size.
  21. Hey guys just wanted to say good luck to everybody this year, I have been off this site for a while and mostly doing the hunting thing, but fishing season is coming and I'm super excited. Just caught my first of the year yesterday behind the house here in good ol' Indiana. Later, Deadeye32
  22. I was out this evening and these two guys were catfishing and bassfishing from the bank. One guy would sit for a while and the other would throw a spinnerbait and then they would switch. Well they didnt catch a thing while tight lining for cats, but the one guy caught a nice 5lb cat on a spinnerbait, couldnt believe it and either could his buddy. the guy was so happy about his interesting catch. It was pretty funny to watch.
  23. dude thats awsome that you are getting that confidence in your game. I have the mindset that there is not a lake in this world that I cannot catch a fish in and although its not always true, you gotta have that attitude with everything you try. There are times when you lose cofidence and your technique goes to crap, you fish too fast, dont pay attention, ext. That is why you gotta stay focused and be confident in every cast you make. Keep up the good work and congrats.
  24. 2005 F150 4x4 pulls my nitro pretty well. It was the best graduation gift I ever bought myself
  25. looking at that grass on the second pic and looking like it is about evening, I would love to throw a buzzbait and watch a big one blow it up.
