In order to avoid long periods of repeats, ABC went with the 24 model this year. BTW, Google is your friend.... http://abc.go.com/primetime/lost/index http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lost_(TV_series) In May 2007 it was announced that Lost will continue for its fourth, fifth, and sixth seasons, concluding with the 117th produced episode in May 2010. These three final seasons will consist of 16 episodes each, running weekly in the spring uninterrupted by repeats.
  5. I have yet to try anything they make that I don't like. My wife and I visited their store 3 years ago on the way back from Ocracoke. I think we bought 4 cases of wine and a bottle of their champagne. We just cracked the champagne last week (bought it on our 7th ann. for our 10th). I like the Hatteras Red and the Scuppernong. The wife and I tried some Sanctuary Vineyards http://www.sanctuaryvineyards.com/index.asp wines last week in Nags Head. They had a nice muscadine, a little sweeter than those that Duplin produces. Their chardonnay was quite good (brought home a few bottles) and my wife liked the raspberry (more than a few bottles). North Carolina is producing some good stuff. We find a couple of good ones every time we visit either the OBX or Boone.
  6. To continue the threadjack... Getting married just because a chick is knocked up isn't a wise thing to do. Getting married just to get some isn't a good thing either. I am bumfuzzled when I see people living together, the gal gets knocked up and BAM, they have to get married. Perhaps you should have done that before you went down the other road. But to somewhat tie this into the topic at hand, Fisher of Men makes a good point. Make GOOD decisions and don't let your thingy do your thinking for you. I almost made that mistake my senior year of high school. That mistake (assuming there was a mistake in the first place) would have been going into high school this year.
  7. If a sauce doesn't contain more vinegar than any other ingredient, it isn't worth eating. :-/
  8. I've yet to try a single variety of Sam Adams that I like. I tried the Oktoberfest a couple of years ago, ended up throwing half the six pack away. For stout, it begins and ends with Guinness.
  9. http://www.duplinwinery.com/ I had to stop drinking for almost two years due to health issues. I drank quite a bit last week, didn't bother me. Yet another good thing about kicking smokes.

Glad to see everyone finally agrees with me. Grossman has a good arm, but no brain.
  11. Tis a sad day in the NFL...
  12. [threadjack] How so? I was 20, my wife was 19. We will celebrate our 10th anniversary this week. No shotguns involved. [/threadjack]
  13. I love long exposures.
  14. Try January or February.... :-X
  15. I love the smell of fish on my hands.
  16. For some reason, I just don't care for Reese. Perhaps it is his California personality.
  17. I consider VPI to be a media darling. After watching them struggle to beat ECU, it was obvious that they weren't top 10 material, much like Texas. LSU confirmed that with the beatdown in Baton Rouge.
  18. Nope, LSU. A fine team they are, but they haven't been tested. That said, IMO they have faced stiffer competition than USC. USC will lose to Cal and Oregon. LSU and UF will split.
  19. Early season polls are nothing but an indication of how the media thinks teams will do. Media polls are meaningless and should be disregarded.
  20. As for Texas, they are not a top 10 football team. OU will destroy them.
  21. How so? They haven't exactly been tested. They haven't played true powder puffs, but they also haven't faced what I would consider to be a good team. The LSU/Florida game (and probably rematch in Atlanta) will be the deciding factor.
