Actually, both of those would throw small cranks nicely. I don't know how well the Curado I would throw 1/4 oz cranks, as it is my understanding that the spool is not at its best when throwing under 3/8 oz.

MH *** Green would probably work. I have the M and it's beefy as is. I also have the Okuma Scott Martin TCS 7'3" Heavy and it handles a 7" Slammer well. The Daiwa Tatula frog rod should also be included in your search if you can swing the 7'4" length.

Yep, that was mine. 5fishlimit purchased it and I believe he likes the Tat-R star on it, though I could be wrong. It certainly fit but personally I like gunmetal stars like the PX-R or Zillion-R. Tims, 100M spool is your best option if you can find one. You may still be able to find an I'ze Factory Zillion Longcast PE spool (bass.jp had them recently), but they're out of stock most places. You probably won't come across a Zillion J-Dream spool, but if you find anyone getting rid of their Megabass IP spool you should ****** it up as it's similar to/the same as the J-Dream spool. I actually really like the 100mm handles that TW and a few other places sell. The big EVA knobs are pretty comfortable and it's priced well at $50. A Hawgtech handle is a good option as well.

I need to try and switch to right handed reels, so there's an Alphas 105SH on the way from Japan Angler. Depending on what the specialist says about my wrist, I may have to sell all my lefties.

The Savvy is a great $100 rod. The problem is that it costs $180.

Nah, 1/4 oz is good for slow and high in the water column. That's why it is important to have a variety of swim jig weights.

I would also consider the Tatula, E6X, and Zodias rods if you have not already.

I am 99% sure there's no split ring on the Pop Max, but I can't confirm right now. No split ring on the Sammy either.

Definitely stop in at Sportsman's Direct if you're in the area. They've got a lot of nice tackle.

Boca bearings are good but not necessary. The ceramic hybrids are loud (which I like). Normally you don't need to clean new reels unless there is a problem. Flushing the stock bearings is all you need to do. I'd also suggest Carbontex drag washers because they are inexpensive but great.

Yeah, it's a fun show. I think they play up the drama a lot, but it's still likable.

Checkers/Rallys used to be pretty good but the food is just way too greasy now. When the chicken fingers bleed through a cardboard box, you have a problem. I only really go to Tim Hortons for fast food. Om nom nom hot kettle chips. Everything else around here is just kinda gross. We also don't have Waffle House or Krystal's, which is a bummer. We do have Five Guys though. I go there when I want to consume 2,500 calories and be hungry afterwards.

Public speaking is good. Effective communication is highly underrated. If your high school has a forensics or debate team (or club), I'd also recommend getting involved in those.
