  1. Very spotty cell service here.
  2. A perfect example of why money and class are not synonymous.
  3. I just read up on exactly how DSL works, since i had no idea. I guess they mustve finally put in a hub or whatever its called that is within range for us. According to what i read, dsl is only really functional if you are within 18,000 feet of the station. Interesting.
  4. "I'm gonna sue you jerks for hurting my feelings!!!!!" THAT is whats wrong with this world, lol. It has been pretty slap happy around here lately. Time to go crappie fishin.
  5. I threw a swimbait for only about an hour. I had a hard time doing anything besides force feeding fish I could see on the graph, lol. The rest of the time I had a hard time concentrating, because i was making fun of him snap setting a size 2 dropshot hook, lol. From now on, I'm gonna point out just how badly he gets outfished every trip. ;D ;D Besides, my well honed netting skills were paramount to his accomplishment ;D Also, I was to rocked out from the night before to do much besides dropshot with one hand in my jacket pocket and shiver, lol.
  6. "outfished" me. L M F A O i catch twice as many fish as you, and you think you outfished me because you caught a medium size spot on a dropshot? LOL. Let us not forget : 1. I had to convince you to fish this lake 2. I have that piece of structure figured out 3. Told you where to fish on said structure 4. Said " I think the big fish are up shallow with this weather" and took us up to that area. 5. I was not the genius that snagged the marker bouy 6. I had swimbait follows 7. You do not know how to set the hook with a dropshot 8. You suck So, I do not believe you out fished me. In fact, I expect to get a nice fruit basket or plate of cookies from you as a thank you for the awesome guide job I did for you. Please deliver in person, with a card as well. Good times bud. Not bad for a little half day trip.
  7. No. It costs more than the competitors. It's 100% Balsa though.
  8. Stumbled across this today. All you ever need to know! http://adventure.howstuffworks.com/outdoor-activities/fishing/freshwater-tips/bass/bass-fishing-swimbaits.htm
  9. Its not that our area is incredibly rural. We are very close to pretty sizable towns. I think the main problem has just been topography. Where I live is situated in between two incredibly deep river canyons (~ 1000ft deep) and it just hasnt been worth their time to run lines to a relatively small population. There is a town of about 15,000 that is about 1.5 miles away in a straight line, but it takes 7 miles of driving to get to it Satelite internet has just been to expensive for me to justify it, and after the mail in rebate for the hardware, this will be $4 a month CHEAPER than my dial up!
  10. i dont know, they are really widespread though. otters and skunks are closely related to the badger but their claws dont look like that. Mountain lions have very short, scythe shaped claws.
  11. you mean "devolve" ?
  12. Something to make people like you seem smarter ;D In nature, there is always balance.lol
  13. DSL is finally available in my area. only a few more days till the hardware gets here and i can actually look at these new fangled "videos" they have online these days. Emergence from the primordial ooze is nigh.
  14. I prefer the personality he already has to 90% of the people on here.
  15. Havent got to use Bosch cordless stuff yet. Their rotohammers and miter saws are awesome though. I just picked up this chop box last month.
  16. DeWalt was awesome, 5 years ago. Their product has really gone downhill recently IMO. Makita is making great cordless tools again. I really like their 14.4 cordless impact. If you are running screws one at a time, a small impact is the only way to go. Specially on decking. The Milwaukee 28v Lithium Ion stuff is absolutely AWESOME, but really spendy.
  17. I use sufix in 10lb, 20lb, 50lb, and 65lb. Best braid I have ever used. I will never go back to PP.
  18. Rice Krispies and beer.
  19. straight shank round bend. preferably a regular wire gamakatsu for most applications.
  20. I recommend the "man's roll" That is the roll that is placed out of sight in the bathroom, for when you get left with your pants down. Dont let them know about it, or they will use it too. I say get the softest, cottony, quilted, awesome TP for yourself, place it in the man roll location, and let them use the scratchy junk.
