*I have only thrown the larger size Spro 65 and Booyah Hollow Body Fogs (2.5" size) ... For the smaller Spro 60 series and the Booyah Baby Pad Crasher / Popper (2.0") , do you down size your frog set up from the standard 7'3" MH / F #50 lb. to #65 lb. braid you use for the larger frogs ?

Yes , if you throw any treble hooks - then a 703C or 733C is quite good ... I favor jigs , T-Rig soft plastics . power shaky heads and frogs , so 734c and 735c Sierra's for me . I hope to add a Sierra 733c in the future for lighter applications - really like the "sweet spot" of the Sierra series (even better when on sale) . *Wildcard consideration : Braid or FC , Co-Poly , Mono line ? A 703c / 733c with braid main line is a different animal than used with say mono line ... Ditto with a 734c / 735c as just by changing out a reel which has braid or co-poly line on it makes those rods act much differently .

*Bone is pretty close to the Sexy Shad color you already have - I would consider to add a Ghost Bluegill and the Maverick color so you have a light color , dark color and a transparent color . **If I could only have one size Choppo - it would be the 105 size by far with the three colors I mentioned !!

*A lot depends on what you like to throw : Jigs , worms , pitching , flipping - essentially lures you move with your rod will favor a faster retrieve speed reel (7:3:1+) ... For crank baits , spinner baits , chatter baits , wake baits , etc. with a straight retrieve then a slower 6:3:1 retrieve speed reel is preferred . If you had to pick only one then you can certainly get by with a 6:3:1 reel .

I have my Sierra 734c. mated to a 7:3:1 bait cast reel which I use for worms and jigs mainly . I believe you will find more applications will favor a 7:3:1 gear ratio reel when matched with the 734C. such as buzz baits and toads . *I do have and use a 6:3:1 reel , but not on the 734c.

4" grub hopped along the bottom on a 1/8th oz. jig head during the winter is a good way to catch bass.

*Regal LT has nice specs , low weight and a low price ... Might be the best value of the bunch ?

*I use cheap mono backing on all my spinning reels , so I only load a top coat of 60 yards or so of premium line (usually braid) , so greater line capacity would only mean more yards of mono backing for me . Line management , smoothness of retrieve and drag are more important to me.

To start , just get a pack of Zoom Super Flukes from WM then cut out the sloping Super Fluke stomach out to make the Super Fluke streamlined (like the regular Fluke) - great chatter bait trailer in Pearl White color (shad imitating chatter bait) . For a bluegill imitating chatter bait trailer at WM - pick up a pack of Yum Christie Craws in Green Pumpkin ... Both the Zoom Super Fluke & Yum Christie Craw soft plastics are inexpensive , widely available and work great on a chatter bait ... As you progress you can look at the plethora of other great chatter bait trailers others may recommend .

So , in the Daiwa spinning reel line up under $100 you have four fairly decent ones in the 3000 series : Exceller , Legalis Regal & Revros - all in that $49 to $79 range ... Those with experience chime in on your experiences for best value as I'm looking for a new spinning reel just for Neko rig , Shaky Head & light T-Rig worm set up .

Culprit has a very nice red shad color - but other Culprit colors frankly do not inspire confidence . Zoom colors such as their Green Pumpkin , Black and Blue flake , June Bug , Red Bug , Plum and Watermelon Red flake are gold standard colors for my worm fishing ... Tough to argue with Berkley Power Worms in Green Pumpkin or Black and Blue flake either .

*A WP75 is a cool bait - I believe people are just discovered enhanced applications for it ... Who would think to use a WP in 40ish degree water temp ? No perch in Georgia but a bluegill or shad pattern certainly is on the menu .

Another consideration for an aluminum bass boat is the design and how they handle "water slap" in terms of how they sit in the water and reinforcing materials used in the hull . A good deal of wave action will be beyond your control but on the weekends with boat traffic a lot of water slap can make for a noisy aluminum bass fishing boat .
