Setup for Zoom Super Fluke?
I throw flukes on 3 powered Dobyns casting rods w/ 12 lb fluoro, but lately I've really preferred my 6'9" M Kistler KLX spinning rod. Last year that was spooled w/ 15 lb braid but this year I'm going back to 8 lb fluoro. On the baitcaster, I use a 4/0 Gammy but on the spinning rod I use the Owner light twistlock hooks. You hear it quite frequently and it's backed up in my experience that hookset percentages on flukes aren't always great. This year I'm also gonna try rigging the flukes with a line-through technique to a treble so I hopefully will hook those fish that just swipe at the bait.

Pond Prowler II (10ft) - No Boat control While Standing & Fishing - Traxxis Solution?
I have and really like my stick-it anchor pin. But keep in mind you can only anchor in depths equal to or less than the length of the pole. So if you're looking to secure the boat in depths 6 ft or greater, an anchor is a better bet. Not to mention that the pin would be a bit unwieldy to store and deploy on such a small rig. Like Toxic says, I think you're asking for trouble with any sort of casting platform on that rig. Standing, 2 motors, 2 heavy batteries, fishing rods, an anchor pit and all your tackle -- I can't imagine it would take much to find yourself off balance. I don't pretend to know your situation (financial, vehicle or otherwise) but your best bet may be to start putting a few bucks away for a larger jonboat. I think that really opens up your options for stability, storage, standing casting position, etc.

Pond Prowler II (10ft) - No Boat control While Standing & Fishing - Traxxis Solution?
I think TOXIC's got the best advice. With the size and weight restrictions you have on that rig, you're unlikely to end up with bass-boat like control. You don't have the space required for a foot-controlled motor and the weight of that rig lends itself to easily being moved around by wind or water. When you're fishing, are you anchoring yourself or are you trying to actively adjust with the TM? You may need to add an anchor to the equation to give you the freedom you're looking for to concentrate on the presentation.

any custom jon boat builds?
The only pic I could quickly find of my G3 1652 custom build. Had some minor changes made the last few years -- most notably replacing the cloth hatch straps with latches. Minn Kota 80 lb Maxxum and Humminbird 898 up front, 2x Minn Kota 80 lb transom motors in the back. Plenty of storage including 6 batteries and a rod locker. I love this rig!

Scrounger jigs
Make sure collar is totally straight, and isn't deformed. Rig the bait on the back totally straight. Reel slower.

Braid to mono knot
I also use the double uni for all my inshore fishing as well. I can’t remember a failure in either fresh or salt

Braid to mono knot
Double uni for me. I've spent quite a few Saturday mornings in front of the TV watching fishing shows while trying to get the FG tied right and I still can't

EWG Trebles,...help me decide
My guess is that very few folks on this site, if any, would be able to tell an appreciable difference between those 3 brands of trebles on any given bait.

AAF Anyone?
Atlanta has both NFL and AAF. Don’t bother with Falcons jokes - I’m a Giants fan!

Do the Curado E's deserve their legendary status?
The only Shimano's I have in my arsenal are Stradics With that said, my observation as a non-Shimano baitcaster guy is it seems that every time a new version of a Curado comes out, the version just before the new one becomes the new hot item. And it seems the reason for that is usually that Shimano cut some corner with the newest model that they didn't in the previous model. Your mileage may vary.

Mid diving crankbaits
Just eyeballing the above, i think you got ~10 different brands mentioned. If you're looking for consensus, you ain't gonna get it ? What that says to me is that picking baits from any of the well-known companies will serve you just fine. Don't overthink it. Find baits in the price-point you're comfortable with, pick a few colors to cover your bases (perhaps a shad, a craw and something bright) and go fishing.

Kistler Helium 3 7'0 ML
Can you clarify this statement a bit more?
- Fluorokote vs Fluorocarbon

Redfish Setup?
6’6”-7’ ML or M spinning rod, 2-3000 sized spinning reel spooled with 10-20 lb braid

Bragging Rights for LSU-UCF Game
So the results earned by actually playing the games on the field are “unfair”? Right... How else do you suggest “judging” the teams to determine the best four - by reading the recruiting rankings and listening to Finebaum?

Looking for a rod recommendation (shakey head, weightless worms, jerkbaits)
Take a look at the St Croix 6’8” M/XF rods in the lineup of your choice
-
Shimano Terez?
It's a saltwater rod, and from what I recall fishes more powerfully than the ratings suggest. They're also heavy in hand. I would not recommend for bass fishing.

Feels like I won the lottery today
Unless I'm crazy here, the reel you actually got is not what the box says. Box says it's a Zillion SV 1016 but the pic is of an SV103. The SV103 is still a heck of a reel and still a bargain for what you paid, but it's not a Zillion SV

What Setup For Gaining Jig Confidence
MH or L-MH Kistler Helium + Daiwa Tatula SV Regardless of the combo you're fishing, throw the jig/plastics in an area that you already know the bottom composition of. If you throw the jig into an area you know has rocks or wood, that gives you a baseline for feeling bites.
