Tip For Fishing Guide?
I fish with guides quite often, and I generally do tip them ~15-20%. A few factors that I consider: how well did the guide communicate leading up to the trip? Yes, they must be good fishermen but they're also running a business how was the condition of the boat and the equipment? Was he prepared when I arrived? did the guide put in a good effort to make the experience enjoyable and productive? was the guide enjoyable to be in the boat with? did the guide align with my goals for the trip? I've seen some great guides and a few real head scratchers. I fished with one guy on the Gulf Coast who I'll never forget. As we're cruising out to the first spot of the day, he turns his radio to the channel where it's all the charter captains complaining about their customers. Seriously? This same guy was practically yelling at my father in law for doing a bass-style hookset instead of the reel-set approach normally preferred for live bait circle hook fishing. That's not the way to treat paying customers... Generally I try to establish relationships with guides and if I have good experiences, I'll use them repeatedly. I'm sure my tipping has something to do with it, but I've gotten a few free trips, hours or fishing time added here and there, special arrangements made by the guides if and when weather has forced a change, etc.

Shimano Terez For Swimbaits?
I've fished with them in the salt before and all the models I've fished with are pretty stout. I'm no swimbait master but I think the consensus I've read around here is that you'd want something more moderate in action than the Terez.

Closest Thing To A Senko?
I've not done the side-by-side research myself, but I've seen quite a few posts where lots of folks say the Bass Pro Stick-o worms are their favorite non-Senko stickbait. Their claim was from a salt content and action perspective...

Better Wide Gap Fluke Hook
Yes! I've had the same Owner twistlock light keel weighted 4/0 hook on my Kistler KLX medium spinning combo since I got it this spring and I may not ever take this hook off ever again Fluke, stick baits, craws, small swimbaits, etc. all work great for me on this hook.

Should One Automatically Change Out The Stock Treble Hooks On All Of Your Lures?
Depends on the brand. Some brands come with decent hardware and some come with garbage.

Geez...i'm Way Behind
As far as I'm concerned, the thing with computers is that new stuff comes along at such a rapid pace that there comes a point where spending money on upgrading an existing PC no longer makes sense, and the wiser option becomes to start considering purchasing a new machine. But if you're only doing web browsing and things like that, there's no compelling reason to purchase new machines as often as if you were doing more resource-intensive tasks like gaming, video editing, etc. Based on what you've mentioned above, here's what I'd suggest: 1) ensure you're using the latest version of your web browser. If you're not, download the latest. This should be free 2) make sure your virus protection is up to speed. If you already have virus protection and a valid license, this should be free. If you don't have any, definitely get some. You can get decent stuff for free, look on places like CNET 3) If your PC is a few years old and you're planning to keep it for a few more years, a RAM upgrade would be my suggestion. Based on your PC model, you can probably get what you need for less than $40

Hilton Head Island- Palmetto Dunes
Yeah, the heat this time of year can sometimes make it a bit challenging to get motivated to fish on HHI. The mosquitoes can be freakin' brutal.

Berkley Big Game Green Braid On 6'6 Mh Rod
I see above you mention that the braid is impeding the action of your frog. I would think the line is very unlikely to be the culprit. Walking a frog takes some getting used to, so practice some more and I'm pretty sure you'll start seeing better action. I would not recommend a leader for topwater frogs. For horny toads, I have better luck using unweighted screwlock hooks.
