I'm addding it as we speak; or at least buying the parts to put it all together. I just bought a 106sv Now I need the lvs32 (wont be able to afford the 34), the GLS, and some sort of pole to mount it on as I don't want it on my TM shaft. I didn't think I'd want it but now I gotta have it Just gotta find a deal on some used stuff

Another little tidbit is that on popular ramps where there's good traffic, many will have a little pocket at the end where the bottom gets "blown out" from power loading; creates a little contour. These can hold fish too.

So sorry to hear about your last year Glenn. But glad to hear you're doing better and clear. I'm 53, just had my yearly last month. My Dr recommended a PSA, which I did, came back clear. Thank you for sharing and spreading awareness. Hope you have a better year from here.

I've never thrown a swimjig; not sure I even own one. This is a bait, though, that I have wanted to learn for years. I have mostly football and throw those often, worked slowly on bottom. I guess I gotta go get a few for this year

Some small changes can make a drastic change in a bait. I didn't mean to come across crass. I had watched tons of vids, did hrs of homework before changing all those hooks. I watched the one we've all seen with the guy with the scale and the 3 different 110's; where he weighed them all with and without the hooks. Then he weighed them with his recommended hook and everything looked great...on video. The problem is they drastically changed the action of these baits for the worse. And the proof was in my catch rate. My favorite 110's went from heros to zeros and back to heros...all because of different hooks. Those things are just tweeked and designed with a certain style hook and, in my opinion, perform best with those exact hooks. Idk, it's just not worth the loss in bites for a stouter hook.

A couple years ago, after hundreds of hook-bending fish, I replaced all the stock Katsuage hooks on all my 110's with the "most recommended" hook for them; I think it was an AMart GFinesse or something like that...couldn't catch a fish on any one of them. Last season I put all new Katsuage back on them and they slay again. The designers of the bait know more about these things than we do...put the stock hooks back on.

Maybe I need to try them again!

The Yum Crawbug was one of the most realistic looking baits to have come along in a long time. I still have some and I don't think I've ever caught a fish on one.

I've been wanting to add FFS to my boat and have been doing some homework on how I would want it mounted too. I agree with GPtimes2 in that I would not want it mounted to my TM shaft. I use spotlock and that pretty much keeps you nose into the wind; I would want to look around as I'm locked in place...that's just me though. Honestly, I've seen some very clever home-made mounts out of PVC that would allow you to mount it to the TM but have it hand adjustable. Sounds kinda ghetto but if done nicely, with a decent paint job after, could look respectable and function as you want it to.
