    X2 on this one.
  3. Interesting read, thanks. -Lewi
  4. Alright gents.....I have a Ruger SR9c and absolutely love it as an EDC. I have the idea that I want to get another pistol and am looking at the S&W M&P 45c since i just feel the need to have a 45 but love the 9mm round. I guess im just looking for conversation on 45's in gnenral and not what .45 I should get as I have held/shot many 45's and have decided on the M&P .45c as another carry option. -Lewi
  5. I hope you like them as well as I like mine. Like it was said, I would also say that they are more on the heavy side than MH but they are a sweet performing rod in my opinion. Anywhere you are able to give them a toss in southern IL once you get them? As for the deal....seems good. You can get the Veritas rods for around $50 as the Veritas 2.0 has appeared. Congrats! -Lewi

$2.58 was what I saw this morning here........Farmington, MN -Lewi
  7. I think my average here in MN would be in the 3 lb range. Love hooking into them 5-6 pounders!
  8. That's a sweet deal....I really like the 3 I have.
  9. I've used the Red Label and liked it. Want to give the Sunline Super a try.
  10. Toss up for me also. I have 3 Veritas rods (not 2.0) and was planning on a Ghost also. I think I have a soft spot for the white rod and wouldn't really care which I had!
  11. I agree with this 100% for poundage and brand. I have used both and do perfer the Power Pro SLick 8 the best.
  12. I going with 14 or 15 lb mono for a top water and 10 to 12 lb for the jerkbait. I would be happy using the 15 for both if I wanted to do so with the same rod/reel. I would say braid also but if im not pulling across any slop which is the case for me most of the time I will stick with the mono here and not flouro.
  13. I made a mistake.......found a popular site that has them available.
  14. Mine probably aren't better but I have 7 in the boat with me. 4 baitcasting and 3 spinning. Who cares if someone has 1 or 10 as long as your catching fish it should be good.
  15. Last I've seen is that they aren't available until March.
  16. Welcome fellow Minnesotan! -Lewi
  17. Thank you! Hope it works too even though its all cosmetic and just driving me nuts!
  18. I would keep them and use them. I still love using mine and hope to for a long time yet frogging! -Lewi
  19. Mine stay in the garage all winter on a shelf with a trickle charger/maintainer on them.
  20. Thanks guys and yes, the reel works without it......just wanted to replace it since I notice it! They can keep em for $6 shipping.
  21. I have the Shimano Caius and am missing one the reel grip caps (I guess I'll call it that) which covers the screw down in the grip. Someone have a line on where i can get one? Thanks Lewi
  22. I too have a Tracker deep v 16 SC with a 75 4S and love the ride, storage, and fishabilty of the boat. Catches plenty of bass too!
  23. I would go with the Veracity as I found it very balanced with multiple reels but that's why opinions are great! I had a chance to handle both of them and the Abu felt better to "me." Now, I will not take anything away from the Shimano either as it seemed like a nice rod also. -Lewi
