  3. Hello all, do the lakemaster cards include rivers or just lakes/ponds ? Thanks
  4. Your very lucky that no one was hurt or any significant damage occurred .....
  5. As an Update, Fishing Rhino you are correct I went on both Lowe and Thayersmarine Facebook pages and let them know what heels they are , Yesterday I got a call from Richie Thayer telling me that his Dad had told him to put the new axle on for N/C Unfortunately the boat is put up for the winter , It's just sad that I had to do that after buying a brand new boat from these guys .. I'm going to ask if they'll send the axle to me and next year I'll have someone install it ... I won't be buying anything from them again ........
  6. You know Way2slow, At some point all those things you bought used had to be bought new , So thank all those peeps who buy new and take the hit ..
  7. Regardless of what he does with the prop he needs to lighten the boat up , You are correct his boat is about 400lbs heavier , I run 2 batteries not 3 and have a 6gl tank,But the guy with the 16.5 tracker is close to his boat and still manages to get up on plane and top out a 25 mph ... We don't know what his TM is , While I understand how someone would want a 17.5 boat ,it's not designed for a 20 hp no matter what you do. it's rated for 90 .....
  8. I think that should do it and if your still having problems get it checked out ....
  9. Heres the comparison ,Walter thank you for your advice, what a difference
  10. nrensch, I'm sure you've seen the youtube video of the Basstracker 165 w/merc 20 hp thats hitting about 25 mph which is what my 16 lowe does , looking at your setup ,how much does the power pole set up weigh? does that have a built in fuel tank and how much fuel is in it ? and it doesn't sound like it's wide open >>> just my two cents...
  11. I have the same set-up as eddallen and I just swap it between boats .. Scotty mounts are very versitile
  12. Ive talked with Richie Thayer at Thayersmarine (Conn) about it he doesn't believe it's his problem ... While I thought he was a reputable dealer ,I must admit this has put a bit of a slant on it .. And I won't be doing business with him agian .. As I said I was very surprised not to hear from Lowe since this is sold as a pkg that they put together... Live and learn I guess??
  13. Well heard nothing from Lowe boats so I guess they're not going to address this... Remember the trailers are made by Karavan so just a word to the wise ,find another brand .........
  14. LOL, Like my lil aluminum boat for the same reason , by myself a lot and it's easy to launch and fish
  15. I have a little 2014 Lowe 16ft Skorpion with a 20 Merc ELPT that I make short payments on , I love it ,It's comfortable and that little merc moves it along at 20-25 mph with just me in it ...I bought for fishing and it's fun ... I'll keep it until it falls apart ......
  16. I have a 2014 16ft lowe skorpion with a merc 20hp elpt and have no problem getting up on plane and it tops out at 23-25 mph just by the pic it doesn't sound like your engine is opening up fully could be the set up or the engine itself but it's new so I wouldn't mess with it .Get it into a good merc mechanic ..the other thing I would add is that my boat has the live well up forward with may help ? Good luck
