  5. The great thing about the Helix series SI/GPS units ,they have DI and Sonar so you basically have 3 different screens plus GPS .. It gives you all the tools you'll need .. IMHO
  6. JPG]I have a 16ft Lowe Skorpion and a Seaeagle inflatable pontoon both have pros and cons The seaeagle fits in the back of my truck and can be set up in minutes and it's great for car topper only ponds of which we have plenty here in MA, I didn't use the Lowe as much as id have liked this year only because I'm still learning my way around and don't ,but I did use it on a couple of the local rivers , It's fun and comfortable weighing in at around 690 so it's easy to get on and off the trailer .. I think it depends on where your fishing ,,,,

  16. greyleg33 I don't know if you saw my post ,I own a 2014 lowe skorpion that I bought new last may ,I had the boat in a freshwater river once in early june and went back a couple of weeks later (It's not at my house ) and the axle had started to rust .. I know my trailer is a karavan had a terrible time with both my dealer and Lowe finally after posting on the dealer, karavan and Lowes FB pages I heard from the dealer and karavan ,They did give me a new axle but not until later Aug and my dealer wasn't going to pay for the labor until I shamed them on FB now that the boat is put up they wanted me to bring it to them,,,I'll tell you this I like the boat but would never buy another from them .....
  17. CDobber the Helix 5 si/gps will be great for your pontoon , Since most of the time your throwing at the bank this will give you a great way to look at structure and you still have di/ gps and sonar. It's really a great unit just picked up the 7 for my bigger boat .... Good luck

Please don't send me any links Ive tried looking and haven't had much luck , Would rather have someone that's already a member or knows of a club that's actually looking ... I'm in the Billerica area ... Thanks
  21. Thanks fishnkamp, I've reached out to them and while I'm happy with the boat ,If I should decide to replace it will not be with another Lowe , I put a lot of stock in" service after the sale " and it appears that Lowe and Karavan have issues in that area ....
