Thanks Wayne .. Ok new boat time, just ordered a Lund Rebel 1600 Ss with a 50hp merc, Helix 10 si ,MG Xi5 remote control 55lb TM, 3 seats and galvanized trailer . this is a new model, I think it's just an upgraded Fury but looks sweet ....

Hi and merry christmas to all, I have a Lowe skorpion that may be getting traded due to an inner ear problem that makes a high casting deck a little bit of a problem, I fish mostly by myself and was thinking about the Lund fury 1400 or 1600 SS It's small and looks like it would be easy to get on and off the trailer , Any opinions ? Hi guys , Last year I bought a new Lowe Skorpion with a 20hp ELPT merc , While it runs great ,as you can imagine ,it does have it limitations , I have the opportunity to swap it out for a new (2015) 40hp Elpt merc for 3 grand ,What would you do ??? opinions are always welcome ... Thanks

All my reels are Lews on GLoomis rods I have the tournament pro ,the bb1 pro, Team lews lite and the LFS all are great reels

I prefer GLoomis I have a few gl2's and gl3's an IMX and GLX all are either HVY or MHVY most are within the 200.00 price range with exception of the IMX amd GLX...

I have a Lowe Skorpion with a merc 20hp elpt that I really like , I'm not a tournament guy so a day out on the river or lake it's perfect and light ...

I have a topic about almost the same thing ,Ive used almost everything out there high end floro cheap mono , co polymers and braid , I always go back to the braid , power pro 20 lb moss green , doesn't seem to be that much of a difference ..

I use a Gloomis glx 805c with a Lews bb1 pro and 30b braid for my mattlures ...

Gloomis has a few that are 6ft I own a couple gl3's and gl2's good rods .....

I think the fishing buddy is the way to go . they're very portable and use AA batteries , they doc come up for sale on C/L for short money as someone mentioned earlier ,, Good luck

Ok looking for what your using and why, I'm using baitcasters and haven't had much luck with floro .
