Bed Fishing: Friend Or Foe
It ain't much different catching females staging right before they move on the beds. I prefer catching them that way! They eat baits better... I have bed fish as well, I've spent hours on a fish.. It's anything but easy, I don't believe it hurts or is immoral.

What I Hate About Bass Fishing
Google striped bass fishing/ guided trips in Indiana, there are a few lakes upstate from me that can/could put you on some 20 pound fish... It's a blast, done it in Cumberland before the Dam issues and fish kills...

Question About Lure Weight On Rods
I agree with this statement, I have a couple spinning rods , like his statement, nice rods, but I certainly believe they are underpowered, I do like them for the money, as long as your aware of the blanks misleading ratings...

Drones???
I pray it won't happen... Next thing they will add, will be bomb bay doors and pylons that can have poison darts attached and electrically fired, Nevermind the already stupid cameras on them, lol

Mojo Vs Rage Vs Skeeter Rod?
It may create a bit of noise, but I use a 7'11" Rage with pacbay minima's, I use 15 to 25 pound line on it, flipping, smaller swimbaits, I have not had a single issue with the guides... I use Yozuri & Cxx lines, sometimes Trilene Big Game..

Mojo Vs Rage Vs Skeeter Rod?
Yes Sir, that is correct.. It's like that with any nylon, copoly blend, hybrid, flourocarbon, line I ever seen made, ever... And I would ask this, do you feel that memory on the line may be impeded upon passing thru micro guides?

Are The Expensive Rods Really Worth It?
Good points! However on the reel issue, I still spend better money on those as well. There can be days where a reel engage/ dis-engage can exceed 500 to 700 times a day... So to that point I'd say the sport can be argued on all fronts, and, there may not be a clear winner...

Drones???
I used to build model Rockets in the mid 70's, then we would launch them.. Point is, there were quite a few restrictions, fun hobby too. Apparently there are few restrictions on these hobby crafted drones, didn't a drone recently jump the White House fence? Or was it crashing into a tree? Lol, oh well new regs are coming on hobby drones, stand by!

Submerged Grass
Superflukes, Senko, Rage Rigs, depending on growth, region of country, also isolated weed beds w/ edges, two types of converging cover, Catt, hit on that.. You can work it a lot of ways.

What Do You Use Your 7 Gear Baitcaster Reel For?
In the old days I used a sloow ipt reel for flip/ pitch duty, reason: it was generally accepted that the perceived power assisted with wenching fish out of hydrilla, etc. but the past few years ipt is very high and allows for more target presentations in a 8 hour day. You simply can burn your bait back, pitch, fish or no fish, crank back and boom, pitch again.. Now throw in slack line ( line watching ) presentations and you have fast crank pickup with power to boot in modern reels.. They are very popular now.. I use 7.2.1 5.1 reels.. A couple of older 6.3.1 reels... ( BC )

Is There A Rod That Fits?
I use medium and medium heavy spinning rods lots of time when fishing for bluegills and crappie, I have caught several fattie LMB while doing this with live bait or micro jigs. I also do use a ml avid in 7' as well... Often times in creek fishing I may use a ultra light as well, it just depends on what my waters may have in the way of fish species as well as size, eg: no worries about a 8 llb LMB coming out of skinny water around here, in Fl. You bet!

Are The Expensive Rods Really Worth It?
I have one rig, that I use maybe 6 to 8 times a year... It's near $600, I use it creek fishing, I love my rods & reels, almost to a point of madness! Lol, but I sure enjoy a fine rod & reel, same as a fine cigar or a exceptional bottle of Kentucky bourbon. Spend what you can or what you want, fishing is a sport that can be enjoyed by all peoples...

Are The Expensive Rods Really Worth It?
I have 2 Gl2 B.C. Rods I got at $100 & $ 115 and at that price, I'm pleased with them. I personally wouldn't ever pay full retail on a Gl2 though... The Gl2 also used to come with a wildcard for a one time free replacement anywhere, at anytime thru a Gloomis retailer/dealer.. That program has been eliminated from my understanding..
