I like the looks of the reel, along with the specs.. Not sure on price or the mechanics of the brand exactly.. Also, almost ANY color other than white! My Baitcast reels have after market carbon fiber handles w/ weave, I like it..

That was a reel set up issue to begin with, next was a poor quality FC, you are correct, there are many better choices avail. Next time though you need to insure reel set up, there is a learning curve, albeit slight over mono, hybrids..
