    Fixed that for ya!
  2. In that case, might I recommend gummy worms
  3. Did you just leave your corner pub?
  4. That fish must be a Beer drinker, lol.. Seriously, wonder what it's diet has been?
  5. I don't know about moon phases, as it applys to crawfish coloration changes.. But in mid to late spring around here, the color IS, dark brown or coffee w/ orange.. Orange because they will be packing eggs in the tail areas and they are orange. Brown & Orange jigs & trailers = Fun Fishing!
  6. Have your Bass reels, deep cleaned then have your bearings/ gears greased with a marine grease giving much better internal protection. See: DVT...
  7. I believe you can get a Avid rod in that color, as well...
  8. People seem to gravitate to the ideal that it's always about the " Rod Blank " and that's just one part of the rod, I've had failures with reel seats and don't forget about the micro guides and their high degree of failure rates... I believe in a fair warranty for real warranty issues.. I have read of malicious acts toward rods for the sake of replacement, this makes it hard on the honest fisherman with a legitimate problem in some cases. For me, I feel like 10 years is a lifetime..for a rod, anyways. Often times when I buy a rod now, it has a special purpose in mind, meaning I may not employ it much at all the first or second year.. ( travel rod ) etc.. The warranty system appears to have been abused making it hard on the rest of us fisherman with integrity.. I believe this is the reason, at least in part, why we are seeing a shrinkage in warranty coverage.
  9. I had this rod, as I recall from the loomis web site it was coined a quick into action pitching rod or something to that effect.. I actually used it for tube work ( Trigged) as well as bigger jerk baits..I know it sure was handy, as it stowed away nicely.

    What a Man! Nice post...
  11. Used a avid 7'10" telescopic with sic guides for years.. Great rod, convenient and never a problem..I believe they still offer this rod with Alconites but it will be over your budget. Nonetheless, I don't see telescopic as a handicap at all.
  12. Between Crappie jigs, roadrunners, and the tiny rapala countdown minnows, I can usually boat some kind of fish, lol.. I really don't have a panic box though...
  13. I'm playing! I wasn't referring to your post anyway.. I musta been replying, lol.. It's all good..
  14. Some of you guys are true killjoy's, lol I believe ( not superstitiously) this thread was in jest... At least from my perspective.
  15. I pitched with Tds, Tdx, Tdz, Fuego, then the Zillion, my opinion is Palmabity is real important, but weight @ over 7 oz. do you plan to live with a pitching/ flipping rod and reel day in and day out? If so, then that is what determines my choice. I love this style of fishing, better have a fairly comfortable rig if you plan to persist for 8 to 10 hrs. A day. Also, 8.8 llb of drag is plenty sufficient imo..
  16. 5 years on Mexican made Rods, and as ty said 15 on the "X" rods... Plenty of Time!
  17. I would add this... That Romance could & Lilkely will implode at some point, I have seen this happen first hand on a few occasions.. It's like a Chess game, move, counter move, laced with patience. Best wishes..
  18. Del Rio may be entertained for a head coaching position as well... Aaron Rodgers has been limping thru the past few games as well and he's far younger than Peyton, if Peyton can recover, he can & will still play great QB...
  19. My Austrailian outback hat! That hat is so awesome I wear it to bed too!
  20. Well if it's screeching something is amiss, hmm,
  21. Well why did you post a help question?? Since you know what's wrong, seems like you know your answer, so, what's the next move? Return of a defective reel? Seems logical to me, and a rather simple decision...
  22. Back off your cast control...
  23. Yep, I paid $340 for my 2 piece Browning/Gore suit in 98 and it's been phenomenal...
