  1. I picked up 200 yds. So tell me what you're opinion is on this line, characteristics, several have said they prefer it over Sniper.... Tell me what you have found out about it. $23 for 200 yds. Not cheap, not Tatsu high.... But feedback will be appreciated.
  2. I have had some of my better numbers days in the rain, also in march rainy cold caught them bigger girls then.... I have also busted a gooseegg to on rain days.
  3. Good job hanging tuff to fix, with some good folks trying to steer ya! Glad it's fixed now!!
  4. I cast 1 0z jigs no problem with my 7'11" down on ky. Lake... Workin up and down drops.. I think it's a matter of capability as well... As usual, personal preference always factors in . I also use 7'5" heavy and 7'1" heavy.. So there ya go.

Yea, the size 2 I think it was, priced at 6.98$ ...fair enough for a great hook.... And it looks to be a very solid hook, always love a wire weedguard over nylon any day... And weighted... Saw some nylon/ gammys at DSG for 9$ wow, prices really starting to creep up! I am using owner mosquito 3/0 at 2.98$ great hooks , along with owner 2/0 ssw @ 4.98 for 8 hooks.... I have noticed some of mustads Quailty is suffering in some hook types, a fisherman has to stay on his toes these days! Tight lines my friend!
  7. I use a 7'11" rage it's a d**n fine rod!

Wow , I never seen those mustads before, and at 12$ for Four 1/0 hooks, I will never use them either... That's the price they showed me anyway..
  9. It really, really seems a bearing to me as well, Snookalot may be spot on too.. Either way double check you're bearings. I had a brand new reel with a dry, squealing, rough as cob bearing.... Drop of oil... Bingo!
  10. Longer cast are always the deal when trying to get deep... You have to spend a lot of time in learning the crankbait game... I ain't talking about little farm ponds either, fishing a 10,000 acre to 150,000 impoundment is way, way, different than fishing lil ponds or smaller lakes...

Also do you know what the bass are eating in you're water? Crawfish? What color? / colors/ bluegills? What colors/ shades/ do you have golden shiners, shad which shad? Match the hatch and that's a real good deciding factor for me.... Yes you can deviate from that sound advice some but match the hatch and good luck!
  12. Pack some good heat and do you're thing!
  13. The Hooligan has some very tricked out JDM stuff, and there are a couple other guys on here too! But yea, hooligan takes a great reel and super freaks it out!
  14. You ain't kidding , those reels have not been surpassed in my opinion.
  15. Sounds Great! Enjoy the Forums!
  16. I have had bluegills taste weedy in summer, so I don't doubt it on bass.... I eat my catch late winter/ early spring.. That's just me.
  17. You can use you're bass rods and reels in the intercostal I did for years and years.. Took em to Puerto Rico too.... Play those bigger fish, it's fine! Rinse your rods and reels daily and you should be fine. After you're salt fun tear em down clean em real good and that's it.
  18. Yea we can cheerlead while sitting back eating subs and drinking some ice cold Sam Adams . Would that help motivate you? Pour Bleach on that leg... Or let some maggots clean it out for ya, you will be fine!!!
  19. Good luck let us know how it goes!
  20. Any you guys gotta 6'10" heavy pitchin rod to trade? Lol
  21. Well it really doesn't sound weather related to me, nonetheless I believe I understand what you're saying.
