I would think Hydrilla in Florida.. Soft plastic rigs over a jig... There certainly are places where a Jig can be used..that ***.. Will work great in that jungle.. I have a 7'1" heavy... I used a 6'6" lews heavy made in 85 I threw 1/2 oz rattletraps all the time in Florida never lost a fish.. I flipped with it.. Pitched with it... Shallow squarebills is shorter target work so you can use a medium heavy fast just fine. If you become a crankin guru then sort out and find a more so called perfect rod!

Forgive me... Doug Hannon wrote a book in the 80's as trophy sized Florida Largemouth bass fishing expert... A lot of science... A lot of exacting Details on the Florida Bass... I however do not recall the title... He has caught hundreds of fish over 10 a few approaching 16.... It taught me exactly how to fish for big Florida bass.. I lived there 10 years... I go there even now and apply what I learned from him! There are many great reads I am sure as there are many great even legendary Bass fisherman! But he stands out ... To me!

I love the clam shell pkg. The baits are worth the Cost to me... I use other plastics.. But when I am in a zone... It's always with a rage craw of one size or another...I was amazed truly by the amount of work that went into the rage baits on whole! A lot of science involved that's for sure!
