I broke a fave rod fighting to get it out of my first Cajun Bass Boat ... Rod locker was side designed And they were tangled... I was tired , hot... Jerked And broke the tip... My fault! But I have never broke one fishing.. Never... One time I noticed a Sic guide had broken (ring) that was during transport... I am careful and I guess lucky!

Yea you can flip a spinnerbait!... One bait you may try is the zoom fluke stix... Really working Nicely for me anyways... I think they are still on Sale... Like 3.35$ a bag of 10. Have fun!

I stuck one on a red worm/ spinning setup... About 2500 size... They were the target... And he bit and burned every inch of line off,fought that fish but could not overcome its determination with Spinning gear.. They are massive, strong, and great sport!

Why is carbontec drag washers mentioned so Often as a upgrade? Isn't the current drag materials sufficient.... I can understand many years ago.. But now? So please explain what I am missing on this.... Does not carbon leave a particulate grit behind? It's inexspensive for sure. But is it needed in freshwater bass fishing?

Yea I saw those at BPS and I don't throw them much... I have some Ribbits.. They are soft too. That really soft plastic is key on some baits for sure... But not everything... I use the flipping tubes in elaztech they will last forever.. But not sure on frogs... The baits used to be really lite But I have noticed they are heavier now than before! I say try a pack!
