Just doesnt have the huge typical (large) largemouth it reminds me more of a smallie(mouth size) idk... Is it a hybrid of sorts? That's a good size fish for a small head! No clue on weight!

I have 6 2 oz chrome plated 3 dimensional spoons...welded with a single rattle.... I intend to Use them on Kentucky lake in May. Snags are my only worry... It's different , I can tell ya that! Better than trying to throw a 10XD!

Sounds like a Drag star nut maybe seized.... Penetrating oil? Were you aware of this when you bought it? Or surprised? At any rate Delaware Valley Tackle can surely hook you up. I strongly believe it could use a proper clean and lube/ drag upgrade... More $ I know but you will get many good years outta it this way.

It's a good point, years and years ago I swore KVD was so good because he just makes so many more casts than say a trig setup.. But it does matter in pitch/ flip too! For tournament fisherman to be sure!
